Quotecowboytoast I've never listened to it without the video - gonna do that tonight - Isn’t that something? I fell in love with the audio from this concert (I have several copies on LP and CD) but I have NEVER seen the video. I mean, I have seen a bunch of still photos from the concert (mostly black and white) but that’s it. Please let us know what you think after the listen. Thanks

There is a nice brochure of photos from this show called “The Stones in the Park.” It’s really old. I guess it was sold at some time shortly after the show? I found my copy on eBay for pretty cheap.

Quotenoughties I saw it for the first time about 5 years ago at our local move theater. They showed it only for one night. There were heroes from the local music scene to be seen, entering their places before the show. When I came, unluckily there were only first row tickets left. It was one terrible noise from beginning to end. I remember seeing an ad for that one-night-only showing before the

Quotekeefriff99 I'm just posting these clips to remind my fellow Stones fans how lucky we are to have Mick Jagger in our lives: You Really Got Me (live) Unchained (live) Dance The Night Away (live) Was that a joke? It looked like a blonde Liberace.

Quotewoody Hi Kurt I have this book and l unfortunately paid top price for it, It is better than all the genesis publications Boksburg l have, including Exile and TOTA Deluxe. I do hate to see these collectors editions reduced so heavily, hence why l will not be purchasing this one. Agreed on so many levels. I wish Mr. Russell well.

Hello: I am sorry if this topic has been discussed before. I searched and could not find a previous thread on the topic. I am interested in downloading audio files of Rolling Stones concerts from youtube onto my hard drive (I have a Mac laptop) and then burning these files onto a CD to play at work. These CDs would be for my personal use only -- not gonna sell them. Can anyone pleas

Obviously it was Rod. He was the mastermind of the band. No one did squat without Rod giving the nod. If only they all were so easy.

I see Tarle has a second book, The Box, which seems to be based upon the Stones' stay in France while they recorded the Exile on Main St. LPs. How is The Box different than the out-of-print Exile book published by Genesis a few years back? Thanks.

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotedcba You need to read Tony Sachez book about the Stones. Sanchez, an ethnosociologist approaches the impact the band had on 1960's society. In the last chapter Sanchez switches gears and uses a Junguian/Freudian approach to explore Mick's influence on masculinity through the 70's and 80's, with a touch of French Theory. In short : you really need th

I must admit it is a great deal at $150.00. I bought my copy for $650 over a decade ago. Oh well. I’ll buy a bootleg Ethan Russell print or poster from eBay to take away the sting.
