QuoteStargrovesQuoteHelterSkelterQuoteI Wish I Never Met YouAnother reason to hate the French!!!!! Oh, and what are the other reasons may I ask? (BTW, this isn't "French" This is mid life crisis "Sarkosy".....) "Hating the French" is a long-standing traditional English pastime, just like the equally traditional and long established French pastime of &quo

QuoteBeastThat is one serious come-down from Mick But a step up from Clapton if the tediousness of his auto biography is anything to go by!

I have read "I'm with the band" by Pamela - not sure if this is the same book. Two points - firstly, judging from the photos, she was an unusually beautiful groupie; secondly, she comes across as unusually 'unworldly', even flakey, but also quite unmaterialist. For the Mick Jaggers of the world it must have been quite refreshing to sleep with a beautiful girl was quite

I'm easily scared! Could it be "The Rolling Stones: Truth and Lies". I bought it in America a while ago but hadn't seen a British edition until the other week - this assumes you are in the UK, of course!

I think it may be called "Under review; Rolling Stones 1967 -8" because Amazon UK are promoting it. It's like a companion one to 'Keith Richards Under Review'. I'll probably get it but haven't yet.

I usually speak to people I see wearing a Stones t shirt and ask if they are a fan - they usually say yes and we talk about what gigs we've been to or recordings, so although I'm sure some people are just wearing them because they like the logo as a fashion statement, most who do, even if not fanatical, like the band too.

The skulls have been pretty 'mainstream' for quite a few years now if you count couture fashion designers putting out whole cllections around them - eg; McQueen and Galliano. Now its on the high street too! Share the love, I say.

QuoteRockmanThe way Mick pronounces BOO...ke Very Liverpudlian pronunciation for a Southerner! Makes you wonder who was around at the recording, given Mick's tendency to imitate the accent of whoever he's with at the time.

QuoteryanpowI like "any way you look at it too" especially the line "Life it has more twists and turns than found in any book". How true. And how about the single line Keith sings ending with that drawn out 'anyway..'?

Hate to admit I like the dreaded "Rarities" because of "Anyway you look at it" - not a very typical Stones track and not on any other record/CD i've come across.
