Quotestone-relics I love that Adelphi Records Joujouka.....Never seen that one. I have quite a few of the Local Virginia bands on that label, The Rockin Rev., Nighthawks, Skip Castro, Allstars, etc. JR Also got the Rosslyn Mountain Boys? The guy who owns Taxim Records over here in Germany is their Number One fan. Me, I'm not so sure.

Thank you very much Scott & Jos!!! Compared to the vinyl bootleg I own ( "...Sad songs Is All I Know" on Thrown Records ) this runs a little bit faster. Anybody know why "Rip This Joint" is shortened?? Runs only over one minute, third verse and refrain missing?! Is that a probem with the file??

Quotescottkeef The best Hip-O release for me is "The Sir Douglas Quintet- The Complete Mercury Masters"!!!!! 5 CDs I'm sure at least ONE person here agrees! Well, Scott you know you can always ( or better mostly ) count on me, but it is really hard for me to make a decision here, I mean those Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters and Bo Diddley releases are really great, aren't they!?

Quotestraycat58 The agreement with Vox was signed on Aug. 9 , 1963. Stu drove the boys to Jennings Music in Dartford and they made the first promo shooting. Now that's what I call a prompt answer, thanks straycat58

Thanks ROLLINGSTONE, I just looked it up at the "Evening Times" homepage. I am having my doubts, because the Stones hardly left the Greater London Area in the first half of 63, they were in Glasgow in Mid-January of 64. Anyone knows when their deal with Vox started? Although the pic does not imply a 100% for sure that they're having a deal with Vox

Thanks ROLLINGSTONE, cannot remember having seen this before! Brian's displaying a very nice guitar!! Are you sure about the date, though? On a lesser note, I think the name is McCormack's.

The obvious answer for this latest outrage is that the book is by Bill German, I can think of nothing else!!! i know, lamejoke, and, justkiddin p Are you sure about SAL?? Anyway, Satisfaction was released here i

Quotestraycat58 In my opinion the best solution is to convince these people to sell their tapes, and we could organize ourselves and share the expenses. If we collect 20-30 people interested, the budget will be reasonable. For any show from 1970 or earlier, count me in!!!

>>BTW: to be precise, AROUND AND AROUND LP first appeared in France in October 64; the German edition should be from March 65 Dieter Hoffmann: "Das Rolling Stones Weißbuch" lists this as a November 1964 release.

>>(But having a source like this should not us talk about some more...) ...especially as this comprises singles & ep's "only", for the Beatles he also did a book on lp releases, so let's hope he will come up with something equivalent for the Stones fans soon!
