Yes, but again: "Vintage Champaign" has only FIVE songs from the second show in Champaign. We are looking for the COMPLETE second show, probably from a different taper(?)

QuoteSilver Dagger Guys, as I posted before I recently got this recording off the web for free. Use your noddles. It's out there. Just type Rolling Stones - Champaigne 69 and see what comes up. You'll be amazed. Some othjer cool stuff from 69 too. Just go web surfing. Sorry, Silver Dagger, I don't get it! Are you sure you got the SECOND show from Champaign?!? All I get are links

QuoteTornandfrayed Rank Stranger, thanks a lot for sharing this new source! New 60s/70s tapes don´t turn up very often and each newly circulating source is highly appreciated. The recording is not perfect by today´s standards but still very listenable and well balanced (even the drums can be heard) and definitely better than the other tape. Shame about the missing tracks and cuts but thi

QuoteErik_Snow OBR has better quality for a lot of the tracks; and it also features "Tumbling Dice" from the 2nd Brussels show (!) Thanks!

Thanks, I've done a little more research in the meantime, file is ~ 57000KB, cannot be Flac. From the tracklist this OBR bootleg looks like a twin of VGP's "Reflection Of a Stone Alone", I should be able to borrow this from a friend! Still not into torrents. Does anyone know if these boots sound (nearly?) identical??

I never had a tape or cassette of this recording, only the cd-r which is running too slow. I don't know from whom I got it, but I have a faint idea; I will see this guy next month, I hope. I believe the distortion is already on the original cassette, and that the recording started with Carol, listen how much the first ~ 8 seconds are distorted, the taper then turned it down. It would b

Quotestraycat58 I tried to compare with the other Dallas which is almost unlistenable. It looks to me the same show anyway. There's some mess of Jagger in the first lines of Live with me and the boulevard of Paris line in HTW, although Jagger alternated Paris with NYC in different 1969 concerts. It's a pity Prodigal son and JJF are missing. Re.: HTW he sings "...gin soaked barr

Quotestraycat58 are these the 10 tracks of the Hans Jo post? Yes! And this is definitely a different source! Sometime ago I had to change my e-mail address; I was getting tons of spam after having logged in at guitars101. Over here this required a new username, hence Hans-Jo became Rank Stranger.

So here it is finally, took me only two years: Flac files. Maybe I counted ten tracks, because Carol & Little Queenie are very much cut; infact there are quite a few cuts in the other songs too. This recording is for completists only, sound quality is very low-fi! Nothing has been done to improve the poor sound, I only speeded up the original cd-r and I added track markers on my Tas

Credit where credit is due: I think the first player who delivered a guitar arrangement of this tune was Carlos Santana, check out "Fillmore-Last Days" I'm not so much into Santana, but I like that version.

If you are not into torrents, I have an 80 minute cd-r of the "Oil Cream" bootleg double cd, more info here: the original cd is about 82 and a half minute long, I think I shortened the introduction, songs are complete, can send a copy by snail-mail. By the way, a nice Blind Faith show is up here: 4th song they are playing is "Under My Thumb"!

Once again, my fault; I thought that the show was from 1963. Wasn't this a tape recorded by the bass player in Jeff Beck's group?

Quotestone-relics I guess I am just spoiled.... And I dont really need much after that. Most of the boots from the 89-07 tours are just fine for me. JR What about a live show from 1963?!!
