I like both sides of this single too. Don't understand all the negativity here. The same goes for Streets Of Love. One of the few songs I never skip on Grrr.

QuoteBig Al The Beatles were light years ahead of the Stones. Compare Revolver to Aftermath. I genuinely believe the Lennon-McCartney partnership was a phenomenon, never to be repeated or bettered. Aftermath is more uneven than Revolver. But there is nothing on Revolver that moves me like Under My Thumb or Out Of Time.

QuoteNICOS Make a album choose the 4 best songs and release it as an EP................and release the rest on an unofficial bootleg and everybody is happy............to tell you through I never played BB since it was released You should play it more. It contains some good songs such as Sympathy For The Devil, Stray Cat Blues and No Expectations.

Quotenoughties QuoteElmo Had forgotten that D'Abo wrote Handbags and Gladrags, which is a classic song, and it was interesting to hear his story about how he wrote it and to hear his own version. This song says nothing to me. I`ve never heard it before. I think I have all of their 60s` songs on various LPs. What album is it on? It was not recorded by Manfred Mann but appears on a Mike D&

Out Of Time is one of the Stones' greatest songs. Americans, unfortunately, were cheated out of this song and a much shorter and inferior version was released a year later. The Chris Farlowe version was a UK no.1, the only Stones cover to reach the top as far as I know.

QuoteDarin75 Love the entire album since I first got it! My favorite tracks on the album have to be “100 Years Ago”, “Winter” And “Heartbreaker”! Precisely my choices too!

Several other dealers had it in the £2-4 range. Today the lowest price (used) is £35,-, the highest £92,-. And new copies start at £116,-. Does anyone understand this ? Are you near a robust library? Quotebitman Quotewalkingthedog I was a member for a couple of years in the late sixties. I still have some newsletters. They also sent me a picture cover for Honky Tonk Woman. And a signed picture of the band, but I'm not sure if the signature is real or just a print. Did you ever get one of the shirts? Just discovered this! No, I didn't. Perhaps because I live in Norway ?

I don't care when it comes out. I'd rather have a decent album in two years than a mediocre one now.

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteHMS Party Doll sure isnt a bad song, in the right hands it would be even very good. But Mick´s version is pure Kitsch, the arrangement, instrumentation and production are horrible. Damn keyboards. An example how one can ruin something good. Pretty much the same can be said about Hard Woman. 80s-production killed it. Mick should have brought this song to the DW-ses

Quotejlowe If Mick ever gets round to doing another solo album, he should do a cover of "Moves like Jagger'. Out of interest, have any of Mick or Keith's solo works ever been covered? Very few, I suspect. Mary Chapin Carpenter covered Party Doll - a great song - how can Gaslight rate this 1.5 out of 5 ?

QuoteMatt All Decca albums in Mono and Stereo (where stereo mixes exists or possible to mix from existing session tapes) with additional unreleased tracks from the same era, not tracks with new vocals added. The first album of course only in Mono, but there are a lot of tracks recorded only released on bootlegs so far. No 2 has at least 6 of the tracks also in stereo. 12x5 also at least 6 tracks

QuoteSweetThing QuoteHMS So Mick has written Sway, Moonlight Mile, 100 Years Ago & Dead Flowers without Keith - so what? Okay, Sway is a good one, no doubt about it, but Moonlight Mile is the weirdest and strangest thing on SF and I dont like it at all. 100 Years Ago is simple boring, boring, boring and Dead Flowers is an attempt to write a country song without creating a highlight, it´s r

Quotetreaclefingers luckily, Amazon's decided this for us...here they are, in all their glory, the best albums of 2014: No 1 on amazon.uk's list, Beck's "Morning Phase", is only rated no. 316 on Rateyourmusic. Does this say something about the quality of music made this year?

The Bee Gees songwriting capacity is unique in popular music history. They have written at least 7 full albums for other artists, Jimmy Ruffin, 2xStreisand, Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick, Kenny Rogers and Carola. If you look at this website you'll see that they have recorded several hundred songs which were never released.

I haven't seen anyone mentioning this LP here : It seems to be legit, you can buy it from amazon.uk for instance. The sound quality of the non-released material is pretty good, while the quality of the released material is not so good; I think it must be BBC recordings or something. It has 2 different versions of Come On.

Here is a quite beautiful song from Mikes Smith & D'Abo, lead singers of DC5 and Manfred Mann, from their album Smith & D'Abo: And another one which features Mike Smith more prominently. Both are Smith/D'Abo compositions.
