Here's a review from our local paper: Record Review: Lucinda Williams, 'West' By L. KENT WOLGAMOTT / Lincoln Journal Star Friday, Feb 16, 2007 - 12:06:28 am CST Like all of her records, the heart of “West” is Lucinda Williams’ aching voice. Sometimes frayed and fragile, sometimes lusty and pleading, Williams’ worn-sounding, Southern-tinged vocals convey a deep-reaching intima

From the latest issue of Golf World magazine: :-) Bob Dylan is a golfer? That Bob Dylan might be a golfer puts his lyrics in a different light By Ron Sirak Golf World February 2, 2007 Now we know why Bob Dylan, the man who so eloquently articulated the anger and anxiety of the ’60s generation, was able to write such painfully insightful lyrics: He’s a golfer. Who else would underst

Did Dylan play The Old Course in 2004? I recently heard he's played Pine Valley in New Jersey and that's certainly no course for beginners. I didn't even know he played. On a related note, I'm very interested to find photos of the STONES playing golf. I've got three, one with Mick seated on the green and and the group in the backgrond, another with Keith putting, d

It seems we're all a little surprised by this tip of the cap but Glen Campbell is a genuine musician's musician. He knows everybody and can play every song in the book. He's got issues too, but don't we all? ;-) Just an amazing individual in my mind and all about the music.
