I am listening to an alternate version of one of my favorite performances on guitar ever. Hendrix does "Power of Soul". Underneath his singing he comps these very fluid chordings and riffing. When he is singign something about a "jellyfish" etc. I love those parts. On this version he actually plays a little more. I noticed that on this album he catually says something to the audience about a college football game that has just eneded. Never thought I'd hear Hendrix talking football. And right now I am listening to Marianne do a wonderful rendition of "As Tears go By" off the Symphonic album. It's better than the early version.
"...no longer shall you trudge 'cross my peaceful mind."
RStones Milwaukee '75.....found an ol' cassette. better quality than I remembered. Mick says "keith is taking his clothes off..." Right now they're playing LUXURY.
