What I would like to see in the future from the Vault Series: A 2-3 Disc set including a collection of live songs from 64-65. Maybe something similar to the Bonus disc that came with Charlie is My Darling along with a full '66 and '67 show. A full uncut show from '69 with the songs in order unlike the GYYYO box set. A 2 disc set of uncut '70 and '71 shows.

Depends how you look at it. I think he had it right before. Malcolm was kind of the Keith Richards of AC/DC. He played all the riffs. Did the dirty work. Angus is the flash. At any rate AC/DC with just Angus is done in my book.

Any chance of a 3-4 song "unplugged" set since Totally Stripped just got released? They can drop Midnight Rambler and that will open a lot of space for a mini unplugged set. I wouldn't expect too many changes but I feel they need to change the opener. Street Fighting Man seems like a safe choice. IORR in the 2 hole has gotten stale also. Ruby Tuesday and 19th Nervous Bre

The Music wasn't contrived but the genre in a way was, which wasn't really it's fault (or any of the band's faults per say. MTV, Rolling Stone, Spin, Etc. were ready to find a replacement for the metal genre that they despised. It just happened to be Seattle that they picked. I'm not really an REM fan but their documentary is really good. They say that before Document

Dan-You are a wise man my friend. I actually liked a lot of Screaming Trees' stuff too but when you physically look at bands like the Trees and Tad, they weren't as "pretty" as PJ or the others. I agree with ya spot on about Green River. I guess my biggest complaint with Grunge is that it was viewed in the 90's as being this raw, alternative (before that word was ov

QuoteDan Grunge only lasted like 10 minutes anyway. That quote totally made my day! Exactly!!! I graduated from High School in 1994. So I was smack dab in the middle of the grunge movement. People forget how short it was and Grunge as a genre gets WAY too much credit. They were/are media darlings. Nirvana was already on the brink of break up and cancelled 'Palooza 94. Cobain committe

Solid album from start to finish. His version of SFM is a lot better then the awful version Motley Crue did for the Red White and Crue compilation. Thin Lizzy's Emerald done with Slash is another highlight. I got to see Ace live last July and his back up band is really solid as well. Hope they come back for a Summer Tour in the Midwest this Summer as well.

Jambay-You nailed it! The post concert after glow makes time fly by. I'm 39 years old and my 65 year old mother has never saw the Stones. She wasn't aloud to go to the '69 concert in Champaign, IL then marriage and three kids happened so she lives vicariously through my Stones concerts. I got her a bootleg of the show off of here the next morning and burned her a copy. I think

No, the exact opposite. As I was driving home 4 hours from Indy after the 4th of July last year I realized that I am in until they stop touring. I won't miss another Chicago or mid west show until they decide to hang it up. With the passing of Bowie, Glen, etc. I'm definitely in.

Not going to happen. As long as they are packing arenas the formula works. I think by next tour though they will have to change it up a bit. Maybe add Street Fighting Man, 19th Nervous Breakdown, Rocks Off and eliminate something like Midnight Rambler. I could always go for a few that haven't been played in while like Loving Cup and 2,000 Light Years from Home and Sweet Virginia.

Chess Records doesnt exist anymore. It is a Willie Dixon museum. I'd be amazed if there is any working equipment in there still.

QuoteWitness You might as well have nominated "Ruby Tuesday" or "Wild Horses" as "She Smiled Sweetly" among your least respected five. You earn the equivalent amount of respect. They way most people feel about Dirty Work is how I feel about Between the Buttons. After following Aftermath, Between the Buttons seems like a MAJOR step backwards. Its like they tried

Quotefranzk Funny, I love all of them except Cherry. Exactly why they don't let fans pick the set lists! One man's junk is another person's treasure!

Interesting how the albums that weren't toured on are viewed and how they may be viewed differently if they did tour to support them. Had they toured on TSMR what would they have played? She's a Rainbow? 2,000 Light Years from Home? 2,000 Man? In Another Land? Same with EO. She's So Cold, Emotional Rescue, Dance pt. 1, Let me Go, Where the Boys Go? (Obviously only SSC and LM

1. Tattoo You-Great mix of songs. Slave is a guilty pleasure. Neighbors, Black Limousine, and Hang Fire are great face paced songs. Start Me Up is a classic. Ballads on second side are all unique in their own way. Solid album. 2. Goats Head Soup-Broke the formula run of the Big Four. Silver Train is a song that I can't understand why it didn't become a live staple. Angie-great

You can add Bitch to the list of "Not Quite" Warhorses but getting there. I'd say All Down the Line, Live with Me, and Bitch are songs that they plug into sets quite regularly that aren't exactly "Big Hits". Star Star was played in '73, '75, '76, '78, and a few times in '81. That one got old fast. I'd say You Got Me Rocki

Yes, Tuscaloosa. That is one show I've always wanted to hear. The version I heard was very rough. I tried to download the one posted above on my lunch break but it wouldn't work. If someone would re post I'd appreciate it. The '72 Tour is my favorite, raw and stripped down with a ton of energy.

Hey Ram-ROLL TIDE! I'll be down from IL for the Spring Game. In Bear Bryant's Book 'The Last Coach" it mentions the Stones playing Coleman Colosseum in '72. Coach Bryant asked an assistant coach what was going on at Coleman because he never saw a crowd that big before waiting to get in to Coleman. When the assistant told him that the Rolling Stones were playing. B

Huge DBT fan here. Love the 3 CD set but really wish Self Destructive Zones would have made the set. The live version of SDZ is much better then the studio version. Also wish they would have throw in the back to back Buttholeville/State Trooper. But they couldn't include them all!

Mr.Happy-"I just still keep hoping for Philadelphia 72". You and me both. I felt like something from the '72 tour (Phili, NY, Houston, or Dallas) should have been part of the initial releases. I have no interest in the unreleased '72 Live album. It was a typical Hodge podge of songs from the tour out of order-No Thank You!

Has anyone else not received some of the items that they ordered on line from this tour? I ordered the Indy Litho the Monday after the concert. The email I received with my order confirmation said it was expected to ship July 31st. It's now August 25th and I have received an email telling me that it has shipped. They charged my credit card but did not send. I've sent Customer three

Interesting Question: Are we all spoiled by Periscope, the internet, and sites that show setlists? I'm only 39 so I didn't get to see the Stones until the 90's. So my question is for fans taht saw them in the 60's, 70's and the '81-'82 tours. Were you dissapointed by the setlists? I mean besides Hyde Park and Altamont they rolled out the same songs in the
