At least with the Canadian border open to vaxxed Americans, bands from the US can come up and play small to mid-sized gigs here for now.

A lot of bands and their entourage are in a sink-or-swim situation, where if they don't tour, a lot of people will lose their shirts. Garth Brooks & Co. can probably handle it financially, but other bands cannot. I pulled this from another site, I don't think they're just fearmongering. "I have to wonder if the general concert going demographic really has an idea wha

Quotedrewmaster QuoteS.T.P Quotedrewmaster I'm honestly quite gobsmacked by the willingness of so many to take this in stride and just say "well, Steve Jordan will do a fine job". (And I say this even though I have tons of respect for Steve Jordan - he is brilliant). I have to ask - would you be so willing to just roll with the punches if it were Mick or Keith that was MIA?

I thought about going to a Starship concert in 1985 just to see Grace Slick sing White Rabbit, but then I saw a live clip on tv and quickly changed my mind.

Quotebitusa2012 Quotez They should change the band name to The Rolling Stones. The way they’re going, maybe change to The Rolling Stone. The X-Pensive Stones?

Meh. There is definitely some great talent there, but I think I'll wait until next spring. A lot of international acts aren't making it this fall.

I guess he really wanted to play Vancouver again since his partner and family are from Kelowna BC, a few hours away, but that's a lot of extra mileage for one (albeit large) show. There is that big 19 day gap between TN and Vancouver. Perhaps Denver show? I just bought 2 tix fo

BC Place Stadium in Vancouver will reopen August 19 2021 for BC Lions football game. No mention of reduced capacity or any other protocols. Looks like we're back in the game, baby.

QuoteDougratajczak87 QuoteTumblinDice76 I'd be VERY surprised if The Stones don't add a show at Sofi especially if Vancouver doesn't happen. My personal expectation is show at Sofi in place of San Diego and show at the Death Star (Las Vegas stadium) in place of Vancouver. If Vancouver happens at all, it will likely be at the end of the tour. like in Dec 2006 (which was a barn b

It's a pretty rock n roll movie for Disney, although it is PG-13. The whole soundtrack is pretty much 60s & 70s (since that's when the movie takes place), rock and funk tunes, used quite liberally throughout, often one right after another. There are plenty of 'rock video' kind of sequences. Kept me interested, but it's a pretty good film, anyways.

The knife story I like is when Keith was being interviewed sometime in the mid-70's in Europe, I believe, and the interviewer had heard a rumour that Keith had done so much coke that he literally burned out his nostrils and had a fake nose installed, so the guy somehow leaned over to touch Keith's nose to see if it was real or not, and Keith jumped back and pulled a knife on the guy. QuoteTooTight QuoteTumblinDice76 If you notice, after Sept all dates are in warm climate states. This has been my theory all along. A Fall tour would need to wrap by late Sept or match what the Dead did and start the tour in Aug in the states that will be colder come late Sept/early Oct. Regardless......lets get some tour news please! I haven't seen seating charts yet, but interesting
