QuoteFour Stone Walls It can work both ways - many consider that they are insulting of their fans. emphasis on merchandising, re-packaging, guarding the vaults, over-dependence on war-horse sets etc., etc. etc. I can agree with these points to various degrees, but my love of the Stones has room for some bitching and certainly no offense taken. I hear ya. I also wish they never played

Keith is truly about music, about making songs, about knowing how much to play and the precious silent moments in between. He understands it all, the idea of a band His timing/sense of rhythm and sound always fills the dance floor. In all honesty, megedeth has talent, but you will need a microscope and earplugs to find it, and ya won't be pleased.

Well put Doxa I always understood my favorite Stones songs were not Beatle influenced, and John's ego/jealousy issues surfaced when threatened by the Stones. It's too bad JL had these issues, that's part of the mosaic that is oh no yoko oh no.

Problem solved: Mexicostone's spandex pants are restricting his blood circulation to the point he thinks he knows what music is.

it gets too stupid when something like mexicostone can substitute bitterness for a low IQ.

Can we at least agree that that 'Rocks Off' is a lullaby.

Mexicostone WOW......thanks, I just heard the most incredible riffs courtesy of your post. Mind you I am listening to various Stones songs right now and Keith is indeed the riffmaster. As for the tawdry sampling you posted, well,....the word music is obviously not in your vocabulary.

I think ABB is a very strong release, and overall I am very pleased with it. For me,"She saw me coming and Sweet Neo Con are the weak links. I agree completely with the political message of the song, just don't enjoy the song itself. I think the Stones should probably avoid politics because politics is not worthy of a Stones song.

I'm almost over it. If Melillo's suggestion that maybe Bruce uses playback on his tour is proven to be true, then the rumor that Clarence Clemons on stage at the SB is in fact a hologram needs to be further explored. The sad part is I won't be so surprised.

After seeing and hearing the fiasco of Bruce at the SB, I couldn't enjoy his music in a concert setting or at home because I never enter Walmart. It is the silliness of his blue collar aura that have rendered his songs so empty. However, my car is due for a visit to Jiffy Lube.

I can understand the producers weighing in with "insistence" but I wonder if Bruce said, "Hey,we're good, we can do this........the Stones did"

I am not very comfortable knowing that a stadium band felt a need to push a play button behind the curtain. Real music played live by real musicians is a nice way to show you really can show up and do what you claim you can do so well.

This release and Walmart deserve each other, Bruce has a major disconnect with real blue collar workers, and therefore he loses credibility. The "music" suffers because it becomes just an ad for itself, there is no music worth noting here.

Letterman gets paid to whine. He has no real talent to speak of, and he only stays in New York to be near Donald Trumps barber. He has major hair obsessions.

Nice post Monkeytonkman, I can say I had a similiar experience, but a few years earlier. On a river canoe trip near the Hudson Bay in the north of Canada, we picked up this new song Satisfaction on the radio....and in that instant my life changed. It wasn't because I just discovered Rock"n"roll but it was what the Rolling Stones came along and did to Rock"n"roll....and me

Pass on the tix,the guacamole dip is better. I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce is collecting his take in a secret meeting with Ticketmaster right now, behind a Walmart store no less.><

When Bruce announced "I'm going to Disneyland" at the end of his halftime set, I immediately thought,"No Bruce, you're already there." It was pretty bad!

Vocals are annoying to me. Aerosmith may be nice guys but I liken their entire existence to a Stones cloning attempt that went terribly wrong.
