Quotebv I don't think Miami 2019 was their last show. May be the last show on a major tour. Whenever there is a vaccine, in 1-2 or 3 years time, they should be able to play somewhere in UK. Not too much travel, except for Keith, and back to where it all began, in UK. That is just my personal thought. I don't know. I can't see them performing in Birmingham as an example with an av

No Filter 2017-2019 plus 2021? I don't think so. They can't use the same stage/concept for a period of four, five years. Maybe Miami '19 was the last show ever. And Corona and the proposed biggest oeconomic crisis worldwide since the 1940's isn't the only problem. Remember they are pretty old. They need a week for two shows meanwhile, not to speak of insurance problems. M

QuoteDoxa Hmm yeah, I have similar feeling as BV do. Last year's incidence was like a warning, and now there are more, very dark clouds, and they surely aren't going get any younger. Add there the issue of climate change, and all the increasing criticism against the massive touring tourism (for which surely corona doesn't help). It starts to be too much hassle for them to get the b

Come on, maybe this crisis will become the biggest worldwide since many, many years or even in history of mankind. Even here in Dresden area, Saxony, East Germany, with almost no infections, let alone death cases caused by Corona until now, even McDonalds or C&A or VW factories will have to finish business soon, nearly every cultural event is cancelled or put on ice for weeks at least. It

Quotebv I hate to say it, but there is sneaking a thought into my mind every day now: The last ever Rolling Stones show might have been Miami Fri Aug 30, 2019 For sure, they can not tour anywhere in the world this year. For sure, Mick, Charlie and Ronnie are stuck in UK now for months, staying apart at home, while Keith is at home in USA. Next year Charlie is 80 years old. With all the p

Quotestargroover BV for President, let’s do it! Better than a nearly 80 years old strange problematic man maybe. Not to be misunderstood: (nearly) everybody would be less problematic than Trump. But we don't need an old man with health problems in the White House. A presidentship of Biden or Sanders would be an interim solution at best. Even Konrad Adenauer was younger (although he didn

Quotewiredallnight Thank you for this one. I once had this box set but I sold it again because of the lousy sound quality. The much better way to get these 3 shows is "The Nearness Of You" (VGP-343): And Cirkus Krone is also available in soundboard meanwhile. Yeah. According to Hoffmann the 6CD set from VGP with the same shows is way better, although there are far better audience ta

Quoteswimtothemoon QuoteMonsoon Ragoon There will be no North American Tour in 2020 I'm pretty sure. At least not starting in May. With a little luck it will run from July to September and the last announced dates will be the first. Remember 2019? Maybe, but the reasons behind the likely postponement of this tour are much different than the situation last year. At this point July seems ov

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteMonsoon Ragoon A somewhat embarrassing song compared with the classic rockers, although maybe better than 3 of the 4 rockers on Emotional Rescue, and not worse than Don't Stop. But still not bad. The remix is the best official version. The surprising 2016 live version was better than the 1989/90 arrangement. Not bad, but nobody needs it. That's why they play

Criss Cross almost made the album if I remember correctly. Together with Waiting On A Friend, Through The Lonely Nights and Tops this track is probably the only releaseable (former) GHS outtake out of the ones we know. Fast Talking Slow Walking is pretty good, but had to be "finished". The rest is probably not releaseable. But the question is if Hide Your Love was releaseable then. And

If anybody is interested in an original 2CD set, feel free to contact me: kaiser.vincenz@gmail.com Really great audience tape, unfortunately the setlist was very disappointing there in 2003 (not at all comparable with Werchter 2007). Also there's a nice booklet with authentic pho

QuoteCHRISTIANF WHAT IS THE BEST BOOTLEG OF 1975 (SOUNDBOARD STEREO), THANKS There are no good/complete soundboards apart from the two official LA shows. But great audience tapes, maybe the best, are LA July 9 (only the DAC release is complete!) and NY June 27 (one of the best releases, at least the cheapest being from Scorpio UK ca. 2015).

QuoteDandelionPowderman Both of those are the ABC, the very definition of filler. In fact, they degraded those tunes from filler status I don't think so. Maybe they recognised that Radar was a sort of Child Of The Moon remake; probably one of the reasons that it didn't appear on the "normal" CD album. - Okay, Hurricane is (or was) actually an outtake from the 2002 sessi

Maybe I am repeating myself right now. But for me the main question is: why should they - at the moment a great, but still a Greatest Hits "company" - release another sub-standard album which doesn't really sell (at least compared to Some Girls or Tattoo You)? The MAIN reason they still tour is pretty easy to identify - money. Why should they bother the maybe 40.000-50.000 &quo

Quotemarcovandereijk Played on stage in Vancouver 1972. After that heard in a couple of rehearsals (Toronto 1994, Amsterdam 1999, London 2012) but never done in concert by the Stones. One of those songs that have an atmosphere on the album that can never be replicated on stage, I guess. I guess they don't play it not because it "can never be replicated on stage'. They don

QuoteGasLightStreet QuotePalace Revolution 2000 QuoteGasLightStreet Quoteexilestones QuotePalace Revolution 2000 It's too bad about these Jagger songs; "Danger" or "Highwire". Because they are so blatantly generic. The verses could literally be anything. A backbeat, with four chords that are loosely connected key-wise, and then it opens up into a forced anthemic feel. The
