RW could have made a living as a street artist in some tourist hotspot in southern Europe. No, seriously, I love the guy. But I hope no one ever gives me one of his paintings/prints as a present, except gor the setlists.

Is it my ears - or is Bobby Keys a tad out of tune on Brown Sugar (and Mick a tad out of key on a few songs)? Anyway, quite an enjoyable show to watch. Very strong guests...

I'm not at all starstruck, so I'm not actively trying to meet anyone I admire. I once helped (pushed) Dizzy Gillespie getting on stage, as he couldn't get up the really steep stairs and seemed to fall backwards. He played great that night.

59 is the year Charlie Watts visited the 100 club for the first time. That's an easy one.

All the before mentioned were great and outatabding players. Does it really matter who is the GOAT? I honestly can't really compare, as I have seen Messi play more often than the others like Pele or Cruyff. All I can say is that Messi is the best play I have ever seen and his performance during this years WC was masterful, not only on the pitch, but as well leading the team.

Younger folks probably don't have a DVD/BR Player anymore. No one under 20 that I know has a CD player or a physical drive in their Computer anymore. So streaming is the way to go to reach these audiences.

Just listened to/ watched "Yesterdays" as posted above and thought that Charlie Watts would have taken this song to another level. I like the song, but that GnR-drummer has no swing at all...

Definetely the ticket. There's no point in physical stuff fo me, opposed to memories of a great night with the band playing on stage.

Quotecrholmstrom For big stadium shows some of that has to do with the band escaping before the mob lets out. Have seen it happen a few times. In fact, the Stones were kind of doing it with the fireworks in the not too distant past. U2 comes to mind also as using that tactic. I have been to more than 30 shows by U2 and never there have been any fireworks...

Yes, and in this doc a few years back (was it a film or a book, can't remember) JW did not come across as a someone you'd want as your enemy - or friend. Maybe he feels the need to set the record straight. Might be an interesting read, probably with some storys that might be a bit unsettling for some (I was shocked about the amount of drugs seemingly taken by so many, I remember the M

OT, but I love this site as it is. No flashing/ distracting advertising, it's very stable, reliable and fast. No tracking (that I know of). Even when at a concert with slow internet connection it will load most of the times, even posting is possible. It's great as it is and BV's decision not to change it also is. Sorry for getting off topic.

I sometimes wish I wouldn't be comparing the shows I attended on a tour. But I can't help it - I guess most of you know what I mean.

QuoteNikkei It's funny how official photographers only work on the first few songs when they could get so many fantastic shots later on. They often have to leave after the first few songs.

When being at the shows, the number of songs being played isn't important for me and during the concerts I do not count them. There is a strict curfew im Berlin; if they only do 18 songs I hope this doesn't take away from your enjoyment of the show at this great venue at the very end of what, imho, has been a fantastic tour.

I got our LDs for Gelsenkirchen from some nice guy from this forum, he provided us with a Letter of intent, order confirmation, bill and a copy of his CC and his ID. Worked out fine. I did the same for friends who went to Amsterdam when I could not go and it also worked well.

I think the LDs are fantastic. Yesterday we got probably the worst seats one could imagine - not because of the sight, but in the upper tier right under the roof there is usually a bad echo and I feared for a bad sound. So we never took our seats and ended up in the lower tier sideways to the catwalk, taking some empty seats during Tumbling Dice. No bad feelings about this, as we took nobod

Quoteslewan QuotePapo There was a camera crane on Ronnie's side - a first this tour? no, it has always been there – at least from the first NoFilter show onwards Ah, thank you, my bad. Didn't notice it at HP and in Bruxelles, due being on Keith's side probably.

Congrats! Agree with you, Rambler was fantastic. On the way home my son said the song gave him shivers in the parts with the stops/bangs ("Well you heard about the Boston..."). What a great night - again!

QuoteJustin QuotePapo If I remember correctly, it was after Tumbling Dice. Hmm, not the right guitar on Keith. Perhaps soon after that, after Out of Time before Wild Horses perhaps? You're right I think.

And I did not care at all that they only did 18 songs. I even expected them to cut one more in the second part of the show and it would have been okay, too. It was hard work for Mick today but he soldiered through, simply amazing. Kudos to him.

Just back from the show. It was different from the ones I have seen before ist but nonetheless a great one, for various reason. From the beginning, Mick seemed to struggle a bit, being a bit out of breath. He certainly moved and sang less, but he was determined to give a great performance nonetheless. What was absolutely wonderful is how Keith and Ronnie covered him up, but playing absolutely grea
