Thank God I can enjoy the music and don’t need any visuals.

Not everybody is as cool as you.

I know.

Any other IORRians at the Copenhagen show tonight?

For Hockenheim there's still FOS1 available. I Wonder how big it'll be as they're available for months now.

It's (way) bigger than Diamond Pits at the stones. At least that is how I felt it. Not sure in square meters.

Was told that the "inner pitch"/FOS in Copenhagen held 6000 people. The Copenhagen setup was two-tiered:GA in the back and FOS in the front.

Perhaps the German pit sections FOS1 and FOS2 hold about 6000 each? Really not sure, just guessing.

A long but fascinating take on (selling) Springsteen from back in the day. References to the Stones throughout the article. Makes one think a whole slew of things regarding the music industry and all involved no matter the band or performer.

Does the Boss take audience suggestions? Like, if we hung Detroit Medley off the upper balcony at Wrigley Field on 8/11?

Not anymore. He used to, but not on this tour.

With last night's Hamburg show, my mini-tour of four Bruce shows within a week comes to an end. Really liked it as a whole, but the E Street on Broadway-type setlist started to get a bit old by the fourth show.

Strange he did not play BITUSA at any of these shows. Not that I needed to hear it. Hamburg was a shorter, 26-song setlist with a length of spproximately 2h45.

I liked Hyde Park #2 and Copenhagen #2 best.

Topi, I had the exact same feeling with my 4 shows in the USA portion of the tour. I really enjoyed it but the absolutely identical choreography with Little Steven and mostly Jake and the exact same banter got old by show 3. And don't get me started on the 3 Stooges routine. But seeing one or two shows is still great and a lot of fun. I just overdid it.

I’ve only seen him once this tour and regretting not doing a second gig - sounds like the sweet spot for a Bruce enthusiast this time round is 2-3. I’m hoping for another go round in europe next year - that and pearl jam dates

If you go to a city where he plays 2 or 3 nights, you usually get the better setlist on the 2nd or the 3rd night.

I just realized that backstreets.com is now dead. Where can we find a good bootleg to get us fired up for Wrigley Field?

Bootlegs? All the shows get officially released for download and Cd within a few days.

Any clues on why BITUSA has been excluded in recent shows?

Looks like he's just shortened the encore. Vienna was another 26-song show. Exactly the same setlist as in Hamburg?

Bitusa is not a very comfortable song to sing, so maybe he cut it to comfort his vocal chords - or Max Weinbergs wrists.

Vienna last night was great! The crowd was enthusiatic, reminded me of last years Stones concert.

First time since August 2002 that two consecutive shows had identical setlists.

3 identical setlists in a row with Hockenheim!
Anyway, it was a fantastic night and concert yesterday, but a terrible traffic jam around Hockenheim before and after the show.

Let's see if he can pull off 4 in a row, lol

Hockenheim is a nightmare. Almost worse than Stuttgart.

My first Bruce concert yesterday in Hockenheim. It was awesome. Good setlist for a first time. It was loud and the weather was good. No problems with traffic jam on my side. I was at home before midnight.

Backstreets per se is no more but the fan forum, BTX, which was the only thing I used on it anyway, is alive and well. (I say "well," but it does have a higher quotient of nasty bungholes on it than iorr does. I attribute it to the Jersey thing.) It has articles and music archives threads.

Only 25 songs and 2 h 42 last night in Munich.

A rather disappointing gig last night, compared to the others I witnessed over the years in the same venue. Better than many other artists, but not as special as what Springsteen had delievered on former gigs there. Too many Las Vegas show elements, little conversation with the audience, "important" songs missing (Thunder Road! Spirit in the Night!). Still good, but not heart-stopping. A few good moments, tho´.

cheers, Fillmore

edit was "much" to "many".

I don't think "Spirit In The Night" has been played on this tour so far.

He has played very little out of Greetings From Asbury Park. I think "It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City" was played once.

full Monza show. 70.000 people.

last show of the european tour. show number 50 in Italy.

it risked being cancelled, because of a quasi-typhoon that hit the area the day before (2 people dead)

I was there. great show and perfect sound.
