Quotetreaclefingers QuoteGasLightStreet I think you can track the demise of the Mick ballad starting with Almost Here You Sigh, which I really like...but started him down a path...Out of Tears the next on that path. OK but not where I like this going, to Already Over Me and Always Suffering, hoping that would be the nadir of this dark path, but then leading to Streets of Love, rock bottom. Did i

Has anyone tried taking the task of re-editing this with correct audio speed and non botched songs? Full hd and 16:9. Could it be done in theory? Are there perfect sounding soundboards of the songs available?

QuoteMadMax Quoteliddas Quotestonesdan60 Quoteliddas For me, the SAL soundtrack is simply superb. Not one of their best performances, fair enough, but it has lots of soul and it grooves like a bitch. I can easily listen to Ya Ya, Brussells, Texas AND SaL all in a row, and receive from all of them exactly the same satisfaction.... C Nice to know I'm not the only one.... SAL apology i

I’m glad Was steered the album to classic era Stones direction. Those groove demos Mick wanted to do do not sound very promising. I suppose Suck On The Jugular is the closest one from the final album that present those ”groove tunes” and it’s the worst track on VL.

The announcement: ”It was 1970 when a spark of inspiration became Aerosmith. Thanks to you, our Blue Army, that spark caught flame and has been burning for over five decades. Some of you have been with us since the beginning and all of you are the reason we made rock ‘n’ roll history. It has been the honor of our lives to have our music become part of yours. In every club, on every massiv

This is very cool! Seems like the best songs were edited from the tv version. If they only find the footage for Loving Cup and SFM, too, I’d buy the bluray in a heartbeat.

Seems like a last minute change from Miss You to Rambler. Good. You can still see MU overwritten by MR.

Very classy looking package. Blue and Lonesome should’ve had artwork looking something like these.

Honest Man is not horrible. It just needs a good bridge part. Like the ”are you scared of me baby…” in Love Is Strong or ”And I need a timeout…” in Tie You Up.

QuoteCrackinup Quotepadre69 I hope they keep Angry and Mess It Up in the set, but yesterday’s low key performance may suggest that the countdown has started for those two. It’s probably very hard to learn new songs when you’re 80. A lot easier to stick with the warhorses. But I hope I’m wrong and the new songs stay. Low key? Were you at the show? No one in pit A thought they were low key. I

Ouch. Angry goes not too well. Mick sings it in lower key than the rest of the band. Maybe the band should drop the tuning a bit to make it more comfortable to Mick.

I’m surprised by the lack of interest on these Stones releases in Finland at least. I asked the local record shop dealer on friday how many Rackets is he gonna get. ”About three”. I was sure that it’s Discogs time for me on this one so I didn’t even bother to wake at 6 am to go to the freezing queue. When the shop closed at 4pm I went to check the leftovers from the website. Yep, there it was

It took 34 years from Shake Your Moneymaker to Happiness Bastards. One year more than from England’s Newest Hit Makers to Bridges To Babylon.

QuoteMathijs If there is one album that is in need of a remastering it is IORR. All releases sound dull and flat as they mastered the life out of it. Mathijs A friend of mine said that the original UK vinyl sounds great, not at all as flat as the ones after it. Have you heard that and could it be really so?
