I was also at both shows (stalls G and O) and agree that Saturday was better - the soloing was more precise and inspired. I also find it frustrating he did not change a single song in the second night. The heading of the set list read 'EC Set List 2022'... I was very happy to go.

For me, it has to be the studio version of LIVE WITH ME, hands down. It gives me goosebumps every time I hear the drums entering - and I first listened to the LET IT BLEED album on 20 February 1995. Superbly recorded by Jimmy Miller.

Got tickets after all, so I will make all three shows of last year plus this one, I'm so grateful. I would like to give credit to Ronnie for the pricing. Many here say he likes money, but forty pounds is very inexpensive for a theatre gig of an active Rolling Stone. (Wimborne was 65 and Ronnie Scott's was 200).

I was at the Tivoli, first row. My ticket was 65 pounds, but this is going to be way more expensive.

Has David Gilmour retired from touring? Just wondering, since his last shows took place in 2016 (had the chance to go to his last European gig, in Tiengen). I remember an interview of Rick Wright with a Spanish magazine in 1994, in which he declared something like: "A time will come when people will no longer want to see Mick Jagger jumping around, whereas our shows are based on music and

Yes, he did not appear in person. I wonder whether he will appear at Ronnie Scott's soon, or at some other London venue. It's the club 60th anniversary, so I would not rule it out.

This is OT, but I am reading Slowhand by Philip Norman and, after describing Clapton's drunken rant in Birmingham in 1976, he writes that there are no audio recordings of it. That is simply not true, I heard it many times some years ago, but mysteriously it seems to have disappeared from the Internet. Is it to be found somewhere?

Thanks for the information, RisingStone. Looking forward to the RAH dates. Granted, but it would be nice of him to change some songs when he plays different shows in the same city, as a courtesy to so many of us that try to go to all of them. He should bring Chuck back, I bet he would introduce some nice changes from one night to the next.

Has he ever played a club gig in London before or during his RAH residencies? I had the chance to see Ronnie and Jeff Beck at Ronnie Scott's in November, but I doubt Clapton will play there again.

I have a spare front row ticket for the Tivoli show today. The ideal for me would be to swap it for a ticket to one of the Ronnie Scott's shows (sorting the price difference, of course), but I could also sell it at face value. I am a postgrad student in Oxford, so I can travel to both Wimborne and London.

I understand they cannot be sold there, as Discogs won't sell any bootlegs. Same with Shine a Light. Try your luck at record shops, I saw Shine A Light at a record shop in Dublin a while ago (I would never buy a bootleg official album, but each to his own I guess).

Finally got this yesterday from Sister Ray in Berwick Street. They hadn't had a copy in stock since 2015. As I've been living in England since September, in the meantime I also found No Security and Stripped. I much prefer to buy these rare LPs over the counter, in order to support local businesses. It's more fun as well. But I guess you can only do that in cities like London.

From what I remember, no, I seem to recall that it as his own collection (Ironically I live in the UK now but have the book back in Chile, so I cannot check it). He was also featured prominently in the short-lived Encore magazine, which ran for very few issues in 1995. Does Chris Eborn post here?

I am sorry to spoil the party, but this seems to be a joke. The note reads "promoter Carlos Feldman se suma a esta inocentada". "Inocentada" is the equivalent to April's Fool in Spain and the Hispanic World, which is celebrated on December 28.

I was wondering whether anyone here has seen John Mayall live during this tour? Any experiences to share? He's playing here in Oxford in a couple of days. Thank you.

I think he flat-out had a stroke (perhaps induced by his cocaine intake), and their PR people concocted a semi-humorous anecdote to make it seem less dire. Does anyone else feel this way? If he

Dear fellow Iorrians. Anyone traveling to Tienen/Tirlemont from Brussels on the 27? Show is set to end at 00:30, and the last train departs Tienen at 23:59. Would be very grateful if I could share a ride back to Brussels (will be staying at the Sofitel Le Louise, but anywhere downtown would be perfect). Many thanks.

What do you reckon of Voodoo Lounge, Bridges to Babylon and A Bigger Bang, quality wise? Records produced in the nineties, like Time Out of Mind, tend to be rare.

Sorry to say this, but, unlike Chileans, our Argentine fellows care too much about the show to bother with filming.

I think it was a wise decision to let you buy for one night only in Argentina. Argentines are so fanatic that many went to all five concerts in 1995 or 1998. This means that more people will have the chance to see them for the first, possibly only time. Fair enough.

I have my tickets for Santiago. I just bought two front field tickets for CLP 315.000 (210 euros each). Some areas are already sold out at presale prices (24.000 tickets were on sale). In order to qualify for the presale, you need to be client of a specific telephone operator and also pay with a credit card issued by a retail company that very few people have. I am the former, had to ask a friend

Fantastic book. As a writer and literary translator, I would rate it very highly. Try Michael Glenny's translation. I once asked Ian McEwan whether Jagger really was as well-read as some people said (he had met him socially). He said: "He is well-read..., for a rockstar".
