> Speaking of different songs, I would be interested to hear feedback from anyone who might have heard Keith's "Oh Lord, Dont Drop That Atomic Bomb on Me." the song you're talking about comes originally from my favorite jazz album ever recorded, it was Charles Mingus' "Oh Yeah" released in 1961, apparently there are better songs there, "Ecclusiastic

not for me. their very early blues period (1963-64) was bloody amazing; 65-66 is yet another pop band, a very good one, but... 67 is being a bit too satanic, but from 68 to 72 the Stones are the greatest rock and roll band in the world!

QuoteGlammy Where ya from, dude? Warsaw, Poland. I bought myself the first and second and their quality is alright. the new Stones t-shirts cost about 30 EUR now (130 PLN); average price for good quality t-shirts is about 10 EUR over here... makes me sad sad sad - but the new collection ain't that pretty anyway!

yeah, Zara had a Stones collection two or three years ago, I still wear those shirts these days! they're really cool. on the other hand Zara is one of the most expensive shops for ordinary people in my country... 27,95 EUR for a t-shirt is overwhelming! x)

QuoteCristiano Radtke QuoteChris Fountain Yeah- nothing will ever touch Hard Rain and Before the Flood (w/The Band) live albums. Those when he was best at live performances-IMO. Before the Flood is one of the finest live records I ever heard, and is the album that made me be a Dylan fan. I haven't heard it in years, I'll get it soon and refresh my memory. I only remember it was muc

...but you judge tours in their entirety this way, not the documentaries themselves! and you're writing it the way that I feel you blame the Stones for documentaries being not what you want them to be. "that's just how it is", I'm kinda sceptical about statements like that. not the most philosophical way to discuss things, is it? ;^)

QuoteWeLoveToPlayTheBlues QuoteAmused yeah, FF documentary was slightly better, but both were amazing to watch! I thought back then that it really captured the atmosphere of the tour. The Flicks one is original, in depth enough and all around entertaining. It really represented how big the band was around the world in a rather humble way, I thought. More of a showing than a bragging. The Bang
