Happy Birthday Dave! I always loved the original Kinks. Still have most of their singles from back then. Alas, then there were the feuds. (the brothers, Mick Avory) Now it's too late I think. Just my 2 cts.

QuoteThe Worst. What's more strange is how they got Ollie Brown to stand right behind Charlie for 2 hours every night doing percussions. Never got it.

For sure Ronnie loves playing live. And that's fine. What I don't understand is why he permanently is supporting Miss May. She has a less than mediocre voice and she simply can't really sing. Just my 2 cts

Quoteloog droog In 1984, The Dice released a self-titled album on Mercury in the U.S. Produced by Chris Kimsey. One cut credits Mick Jagger for "Inspirational Dancing" or something to that effect. Thank you for the info.

Nothing to do with the Stones' song Tumbling Dice. Hope some members here as old as me can shed some light in. Guess it was in the 1980ies when there was a band named Dice which had a song and a video of it one could watch on MTV back then. Of what I read is that Keith Richards payed on a song or more on their album. Can anyone here remember the band and the album or the single fro

Quote1cdog Frampton not being in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame is just crazy! I mean there is a lot of drift wood that seems to make its way into that Hall every year. For Frampton not to be there seems incredibly odd. I mean he still has one of the top selling live Rock albums of all time. And its not just his solo career. You also have his time in Humble Pie.... Agree 100 %

Pretty sure Billy Gibbons will perform 'Rough Boy'. This was Jeff's favorite ZZ Top song. Billy and Jeff performed it several times together on stage.

QuoteCongratulations QuotePhil Good Stones 1967 Tell us more... where? what was it like? 1966/1967 is when the band hit it's peak imo. Westfalenhalle Dortmund in March 1967. I was still 14 years young in March. Turned 15 in July and I couldn't make it really near to the stage. Pretty chaotic experience.

QuoteBig Al QuoteHis Majesty I have a really bad feeling about this year. I do, too. I started to think similarly after Jeff Beck’s passing. The generation of musician’s, born during the 1940’s, are approaching old-age – you could argue they’ve already reached it, in fact – and all the inevitable factors that occur at that stage in life will become more apparent: illness and death. I know my wo
