I've extensively tested billetservice.no for tickets earlier today. The only sections which appear to be sold out are the seated sections closest to the stage, and even some of them might be tied to VIP packages not yet sold out. BOTH sides of GC are avaialable, GA, all other seat categories and lucky dip too. I notice billetservice are even the promoter for the tribute band the nig

Thanks - I'll remember that. Hopefully it's in the City Centre. So you're from Oslo too so a proper home show ! I'm a Scot living in South of England for 30 years so the closest they play to my home is London - 80 miles/130 km. I've seen them in both Glasgow and Edinburgh too. In April 1964 they actually played a small gig at a hotel in my home town of Hamilton,

Quite possibly may consume a few social beverages DP I'll be leaving to queue from about 2pm though. Travelling a long way so DESPERATE to get up front. I camped out overnight before HP1 last year and from 8am for HP2. I got very good but not brilliant spots for both. Then there was the horrible fight right next to me at HP2 which I believe you witnessed. Guy had a local accent. I

Thank you DP. Wow so this is your home show ! This will be my 1st ever visit to your country and I'm looking forward to it a lot. As a Brit (a Scot) I'm braced for the prices of everything over there. If none of the LD tix are GC and GC isn't full then that gives me hope of sneaking in there

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never heard the Extended Version before. They played it in Paris in 2007 and despite a few, erm, hiccups during the rest of the show I thought it was good.

Thanks DP, I guessed it would be the HP arrangement based on the floor plan You have always been very convinced that all LD tickets for Oslo are GA. I believe you are a Scandinavian yourself and so perhaps have a bit more knowledge than the rest of us ? If they are then surely they'll let them in after the early GA arrivals have entered ? That's my hope

QuoteAdams I guess they might open the box office for LD earlier as there seems to be a lot of them. If GC is not full then they will surely fill it with people from other sections. Hard to tell what method they might do for that. LDs or people standing close to the GC entrance or maybe people who are seated in the back. They might also make a very small GC so the don't have to bother wi

DP, Yes there IS a B-Stage according to the stage plan. Even if I don't get allowed into GC for showing up very early for GA, the B Stage is where I'm aiming. My question was simply if anyone has had a ticket for GA then been allowed into GC as it wasn't full. For the sake of a decent show I'd have thought any band would want the front sections full regardless.

Tickets are STILL available in all categories on the billettservice.no site. I was able to pull up tickets just about anywhere, GC included, before throwing them back. The show is clearly NOT sold out at all. I will be in Oslo with my GA ticket. My question is, if GC is not full, do they wrist-band arrivals for GA in to fill the gap, to ensure that it IS full ? Or will they just give them to

My 1st ever show has to be up there, 24th August 1990 at Wembley Stadium and part of it ended up on Live at the Maxx. I still get a great shiver down my spine just before they come on stage at every show even now and I'm always on a massive high for days afterwards. There is absolutely nothing on this Earth I enjoy doing more than being at a Stones gig My pick of the very best show of

QuoteDandelionPowderman That fight was horrible. It happened right in front of me and my daughter.. It was indeed horrible. Ruined the atmosphere for me. Big burly horrible abusive, racist guy with no shirt on pushed in and stood right in front of a short Asian lady accompanied by her teenage daughters. She complained vociferously as he was blocking her view and he ranted on about foreigners

The security at the entrance was useless at both shows. The security manager ordering everyone around was a power-obsessed pain in the arse. My queue was stopped too with other queues moving quickly. Probably we were both in the same queue. I'm hoping for the B Stage in Oslo. We thought about the catwalk and it could have been better than what we ended up with. The security and g

I couldn't agree more Joker. It was a huge problem for the Paris show. But I'm travelling there anyway, with or without a ticket. I know I'll get in because the touts (scalpers) won't be able to sell them all so the price will fall - it always does

Quotepospi Nope I'm far behind you. In 1998 I was 14 years old, and in the years 2003-2007 I was at university and I couldn't afford to travel much after the Stones during Forty Licks and Bigger Bang tours. Until 2012 I only managed to be in Prague (2003), Brno and Warsaw (both 2007). In 2012 I was at the first O2 show, then second Hyde Park. You can see me few times on "Sweet Sum

I was there too in the "Normal" section. Started queueing at 8am. I met a polish mother and daughter from Szczecin and they got right up front! It was the same on 6/07 when I waited overnight outside the park with 2 French, 2 Italians and some Dutch. Fantastic times. 1 Dutch guy remembered me from O2 on 25/11/12.

Cholera jasne ! Wielki Kibic !!!! If Chorzow was your 1st and my 5th then at that rate you must have long overtaken me for shows count by now (18). Were you in Hyde Park last year ? I met

No concert ticket as yet but I'll get one I too have heard that acoustics are bad at the Narodowy. My friend saw Paul McCartney there and he said it was rubbish! Contrast this with Cardiff's Millenium Stadium which has excel

Single tickets available too by the way folks ! For lone travellers there's not the aggro of shifting your 2nd ticket. 655NOK = 80EUR Total - a relative bargain (in Stones' terms...)

My 5th. My Polish friends from then, who are still my Polish friends today taped it from Polsat when it was shown 2 weeks later. Great memories. Milo byc snowu w Polsce It's a shame they now use the Stadion Narodowy in Wawa for concerts as I though the old Slaski was a good place for concerts. Since Euro 2012 they don't know what to use it for
