Vintage Stone, I'm over from UK and I plan to queue from 1 or 2pm for GA, entrance D2. If GC isn't sold out by showtime I hope they let early arrivals for GA into GC as the Promoter will want GC full, even if they didn't all have GC tickets.

Paul, I'm in Oslo and will head off to the Telenor for rehearsals later. Tickets are now trading for BELOW face value even on Viagogo so no way is it sold out despite initial claims by the promoter. And this their 1st show in Europe for 7 years!

QuoteHopeYouGuessMyName I am a Rolling Stones fan and a fan of Capitalism (much like Mick Jagger whom I admire) YOU WANT THE GOVERNMENT CONTROLLING PRICES... That my friend, is the road to SOCIALISM, TOTALITARIANISM, AND OTHER BAD ISMS.... I do not want the government telling me how much I can sell something that I own, that is, a piece of artwork or a ticket to an event. And furthermo

Quotepetewasbristol The UK (I can only speak on behalf of my country on this) should implement an ID (photo) on ticket for major events, like Glastonbury Festival does along with a deposit being paid on the tickets. Then at a certain date (like Glastonbury) the ticket has to be paid in full. Those that don't pay the rest of the ticket get to have their deposit refunded and the tickets go bac

Another thing I should add is that when these overpriced tickets fail to sell via the parasites, they will be re-routed back to the official channel again in the days leading up to the show - just wait and see !

Quotepaulywaul Quotedcba Imho "real" scalpers (guys who will be around the venue on showday, not Net brokers) might have an edge over you, ticketless people because of the way the 14-On-Fire is organized. ONE show per country means you might see 1000's coming from all parts of a country and trying their luck to get a ticket by any means. Add to this the "could be the l

Keep up the good work PW, we'll stuff the bar stewards. I haven't got time for Watchdog as I'm getting ready to fly to Oslo tomorrow night. Entrepreneurs my arse. An entrepreneur is someone who provides an innovative service or product to makes people's lives easier. They provide no service and add no value, they simply sponge off the Concert go-er and the Performer.

PW, I wasn't there in 2006 but I was there in 2007 and the arrangement you describe was kept exactly the same for 2007. FOS was far too big and I heard that tickets for it were on sale at the box office on the day for 50 EUR despite appearing to be sold out on ticketnet.fr for weeks beforehand. FWIW, I was seated in row 8 of U6(next to the Players' tunnel) with my parents, the sam

Quotepaulywaul Paris show - situation 21 May VIAGOGO: 112 available, cheapest is £342. Face value of this ticket is €111.50 (£91) - so they're asking nearly FOUR times the price !! F**k O** !! I think we'll wait ............................. !! SEATWAVE: 49 available, same price. I bet those are the same tickets, just listed on multiple sites. STUBHUB: cannot even be

QuoteBeastOfBurdenGermany Hey all together. Any recommendations for hotels/ hostels? There is the "Citybox Oslo", the "Oslo Hostel Central" or the "Anker Hostel" in my selection. I'm in the Anker. It's huge and reviews are fine. It won't be luxurious but hey, it's a bed for the night for about 20GBP/25EUR.

Excellent work good sir and a very good thread I hear and share your passion. Please do keep us informed. I'm meeting up with friends (fellow Brits) in Paris who haven't done the haggle-a-ticket-on-the-day routine before and they're wondering whether to pay over the odds for the reassurance of having tickets in their hands. I've advised against as I'm confident

Me too Martha. I actually received a link from ticketnet.fr at 8.49am but my email spammed it. Be patient though. You'll get into the SdF at a reasonable price if you really want to. Arm yourself with : 1. A Colur Seating & Floor Chart 2. A high res colour copy of a ticket so you don't get sold a dud. The touts will cave in the end - they always do. It's brink

Yes PaulyWaul, I hear you and fully concur. Unfortunately as long as there have been human beings, there has and always will be oportunistic human beings who will cynically exploit other human beings. Not really sure what we can do to stop it but one thing is for sure - it was a huge mistake to allow Buyers to purchase 8 tickets at a time. I'm pretty sure tickets went on sale 10 min

Yes PaulyWaul, I hear and share your seethe. Dare I say it, but I think they've made the prices for Paris too CHEAP!!!! It's by far the cheapest in Northern Europe. I was there in 2007 and FOS was down to 50 EUR on showday, even though it was "sold out" online for weeks beforehand. Ha bloody ha! The whole upper tier was closed. The prices this year are about the same as the

Mine too Adams. Apparently the Railway Station attracts hookers and junkies late at night so be careful ! I'm on the Ryanair Flight from Stansted and land at 1115pm. Just great :-) I want to go to this cheap Retts place and also the Midnight Ramblers Tribute band the night before

PaulyWaul, I'm with you all the way on every word of that. In France there's specific legislation against touting yet it's a worse problem there than most places. I reckon the apparent demand is just falsely hyped up bollocks using all the usual levers to create a false impression of a sell out. Why are tickets so plentiful at other venues with smaller capacities for example

Pete, I always work on that principle and it's never failed :-) I got into Cardiff 2006 for £70 (Face Value £162) O2 1 on 25/11/2012 for £100 (Face Value 326) but missed 4.5 songs... It's amazing what a clock running down to shoetime does to Ticket Prices. Just watch them sh*t themselves as they hold what will soon be worthless pieces of paper.><

Was very good at French all through School and could speak it will until the age of 17 but I've not maintained it so 30 years of decline :-(. However, I can remember more than enough to haggle with a tout and get by in most situations. I'm a Scot but also speak some German and Polish (hence my username).

I'm going to Oslo. Thanks Lenurb. I'm travelling to Paris anyway, with or without a ticket and will pick one up outside if need be. So infuriating that the touts (scalpers) hoovered up all the best tickets when they went on sale. I notice they want silly money on ebay.fr Any info would be most welcome. I was there in 2007 and the whole top tier was closed. I was there in 98 too a
