Sad Sad Sad . The IOW Festival meant something 1968/9 1970 , now it is a minor event compared to T in the Park , Glastonbury etc . Don't think the Stones want to be involved in a minor event?

Cider going down well at the moment. Can't see the Stones playing IOW for 2 reasons :- 1. The organisers could not afford to pay them bearing in mind ticket prices and the fees for all the other bands on the roster. 2. Very few Stones fans will be there and despite what many people think the Stones are in the main loyal to their fans with the exception of ticket pricing. Cheers !!

This collection is absolutely superb. Gram's voice must be one of the most soulful and heartfelt of them all. Highlights include She , New Soft Shoe , Hearts on Fire and just about everything else. Disc 3 is very interesting too. Hot Burrito No.1 is in my opinion his greatest ever recording and would recommend you get hold of Gilded Palace of Sin to hear this and an album full of classics
