well that is certainly possible. Breakup rumors are just that. Could be they were having troubles but not offically broken up. Or perhaps no troubles at all and she just stayed home from tour for personal or business reasons. We may never know and it hardly matters now i suppose.

Yes despite the terrible and shocking news, I would imagine the Perth gig and the rest of the tour would go on as scheduled...particually if Mick and L'wren did breakup before the tour. Might be too awkward and seem inappropriate for Mike to attend the funeral. Difficult situation for him right now regardless...and for everyone close to her of course.

Brian just wasn't a very accomplished guitarist and though he may have brought a lot to sound of some great songs, his role was to be a guitarist first and he had all but abandoned that by the time he was fired. With the "guitar hero" 70s, I can't see how he would fit in with the sound.

kids don't really like rock anymore. I mean certainly SOME still do but not like it was from the 60's through the 90's. The great rock bands are 40+. VERY few young rock bands making anykind of waves these days.
