Could it also be something like: A new guitar player (or bassplayer) doesn't get his face to the front cover, if he's: 1) The one who does most of the the solos 2) Too gifted

In the 80'ies I used to like Van Halen (Lee Roth's time) and AC/DC - like them still a lot, but never got into Led Zeppelin or KISS... or Rainbow, Iron Maiden, Purple... Maybe it's the final edge missing in those bands. Ok- Led Zep was earlier, but it can be compared to VH in a way. I think VH took a lot from LZ, made an entertaining version of it and it worked (for me) better that

Keith ruling one Mick out and another standing "a bit" apart from the rest of the group? Any stories why Charlie is not in the front cover?

haha. Musically: yes 69 superb. Better live gigs later though... Keith's haircut... it's better he&Mick both keep their ears hidden...

Then it could've been a classic and in their top-5 studioalbums. For example: SOL out SSMC out BM out DB out LIND renew some lyrics DTF out Infamy

I'd say this referee (Merck) was 2000 light years better than the one in the USA-Italy-game. He did mistake in that "goal", but I guess it was impossible to anybody to judge it without a camera: even French players didn't protest that much, what usualy happens in situation like this. Have to wonder French coach keeping Trezeguet off so long and my guess is that this was an

Quite an interesting game was (if I remember right) between Germany and Russian prisoners of war during WW2. Russians won, but were sent back to "camp" after the match. And then after the WW2 this brave german goalkeeper in ManU, but that's another story.

The red of the 1st US player sent out should have been yellow, but that was to equalize situation judged to red by referee after sending earlier De Rossi out. Then he totally lost bike of his hands and started to show yellows in every little foul... and turned it finally upside down - now USA had one player less than Italy although there was only one clear red for De Rossi (and somebody could giv
