wood is the fifth stone forever. Brian had some great ideas from 1964-1967. then became a vegetable and then was fired and replaced by guitat virtioso Mick Taylor. Taylor contributed some of the best guitar parts to the rolling stones cannon 1969-1973 and tours 1969 and 1972 amoung their best. Before 1975 tour of the americas he quit beacause of stagefright. Ron was hired for the tour only but Rod Quit the faces stating - we cant go on with our lead guitarist being on permanent loan to the rolling stones. Since then Some girls, tattoo you , emotional rescue, steel wheels, bridges to babylon, voodoo lounge not to mention tours 1981. 1989. 1994. 1997. 1999. 2002. and abb. He has more good nights than bad. Would you rather have taylor about to go on and then run for the hills?

Taylor quit the stones because of stagefright? I thought it was because he hated money, success, and adoration.

you know what? ronnie may be in the stones longer than bill Bill 1962-1990 Ron 1975- 2006

Ronnie really has contributed some nice moments to the Stones hasn't he? I just love his slide and pedal steel work on Some Girls.

Long live Ronnie and I hope his rehab is a success.

Ronnie B. Good --- he had a fascinating history even before joining the Stones -- he was a natural choice, and he is now an official part of the band --
he's my favorite Stone, without a doubt.
