Liked it when it first came out, but now I hardly listen to it anymore. Other that Let Me Down Slow, Back of My Hand, Laugh, and especially This Place Is Empty, I find very little to get excited about. All the hype about this not being as overproduced and cutesy as Bridges to Babylon was self-defeating I think. First, B2B blows this one away by a long shot. Second, mentioning the two albums in th

Treasure. The lyrics are about the funniest I have ever heard. I always think about that when yet another one of my friends tells me he's getting married (most often to bow-legged sows).

I hadn't heard anyone even mention that song since my days as a child in Italy -must be like 20 years ago or something. Whatever the case may be, I remember it well but it sucks today as it did back then.

Don't know about their contractual obligations, but they don't owe us shit. 45 years of kickass music and shows, what the @#$%& do you want more?

I like it. But I don't go wild over it. I agree with some earlier poster's assessment of Voodoo Lounge as a good album. It touches heights that no recent Stones record probably has. Unfortunately, the filler stuff is some of the worst crap I have ever heard from the Stones (Sweethearts Together, New Faces, and Suck on the Jugular). As a package, I think it would have worked best as a

I'd dare say that show is the best I have ever heard. Apart from Imagination, it has what I believe are the best live renditions of Beast of Burden, Waiting on a Friend, and many others. I know this might not sit well with the Mick Taylor purists, but I think the Stones were at their zenith in 1981 (and Hampton in particular). They just sound more frantic, more frenzied, more powerful than I

Definitely 2 Studio output and live performances may not be what they used to, but even what they do while sitting on the can is better than the stuff most other bands put out.

U2 is shit in my opinion. I have tried hard to like them. Bought several of their records, but cannot bear to listen to them. Most off-putting to me is their sanctimoniousness and self-righteousness, but the music is pretty terrible too.

Yeah right. CNN might pick it up and list it as Breaking News.

I love his songs, especially the slow ballads. They may not be too cheerful, but they are so soulful and intense. The "Keith" playlist on my ipod is probably the set of songs I listen to the most these days.

Slipping Away/Before They Make Me Run are the best songs. But You Got the Silver/T&A worked like magic in Boston, if for no other reason that I didn't see it coming.

There are many I like. In fact, as of late I have been listening to the newer stuff (especially Bridges to Babylon and Voodoo Lounge) more than the older records. But if I really had to pick one, I would probably go with Slipping Away Love Is Strong, Out of Control, and Saint of Me are very close seconds.

Dave Matthews is great. If you have $20 to invest, buy the Central Park concert in dvd. You'll figure out what people see in him. His energy is incredible. I am not much of a fan of his last couple of albums (actually, I think they are shit), but I would venture to say that he recorded two of the best albums of the 1990s (Under the Table and Dreaming and Before these Crowded Streets) as well

If Talk is Cheap had been a Stones album, it would have been the best Stones album in the last 20 years.

I also heard repeatedly that young people in Iran are rather Westernized; I also read somewhere that there's quite a black market for rock music (especially from a few years back). Hard to say what "Westernized" means in that context. There might be some curiosity about Western culture, but that doesn't mean there are a whole lot of gin-soaked barroom queens in Teheran. My gue

1981 Hampton and 1973 Brussels are the most moving; the fast version on Rock 'n' Roll Circus is also quite good.
