In my opinion and feeling "This Place is Empty" is one of the greatest songs written in rock history. Only the "Stones" can do such a song, it is simple, but ingenious, the best song from the great ABB.

The Louisville versions are all over great, some in my opinion better than the Hampton versions, the band is better during this gig, many thanks for your nice presents.

I'm a little angry about such reviews which repeats always the same senseless arguments like "The Stones sounding always Stones-like. The riffs of Keith Richards are the same as fourty years ago, and the new album sounds like bla bla bla two hundred years ago. What should the band do? Sounding like the Boston Symphony Orchestra, change their music from album to album like a chameleon? J

I'm disappointed about the play back version of "Salt of the Earth". Only the vocals are live. Otherwise I've read in the CD booklet that they did many different versions of the same song, e.g. "JJF" five times. I would like to hear all the versions. And they does some blues songs ...

Official best Album: "Exile on Mainstreet" or "A Bigger Bang". Best tour: '69 US or "Voodoo Lounge" Best boot: I don't know, there are too much very good boots, live and studio, but I suggest that "Voodoo Stew" and Voodoo Brew" are the best studio boots and "Better than the Real Rebirth" from '89 is one of the best live b

For the moment I hear the second CD of Philly 89 on the boot of that name. One of the best boots I ever heard. There is a drop out on "Brown Sugar" at about 3 Min 20 s until the end of this song. Is it a general mistake, or does it concern only my copy?

Great song, but some passages were cut out on the "No Security" version. I remember that it was about two or three minutes longer on this tour. Heard it four or five times during this tour in the Netherlands and Germany.

"I'm Waiting" and "Sitting on a Fence" are both from the same era, both very melodic songs. I'm sorry that there aren't any live versions to hear.

No doubt, Ron Wood is a great artist, e.g. I love his solo work on "Live at the Ritz" from, I think, '88. Fantastic version of "Honky Tonk", great "Oh La La" and the interweaving guitar work with Bo Diddley comes from a blues feeling which you can't find often. Here I write negative reviews about his actual guitar work on the ABB tour to find out the reason

Stones, Stonissimo I would say. "Stripped" shows the ingenious Stones. I want to hear more from this period. The concert tapes (e.g. "Street Fightung Man") on "Stripped" are perfect both in sound and interpretation. The only disadvantage of this album is that it is too short. "Stripped Companion" has the same standard, but if I read that there are more song

For the moment I hear the Ron Wood Gig on March 13th 2005. What happened to him in the last months that he can't do a very simple solo nowadays on the ABB tour? He is ok on the boot of the solo gig, his solo guitar is fine, it is a quite good concert. He plays no wrong notes, and particularly it is music what he does during this concert. I don't understand the decline from March to Augu

In fact, that's better. For the moment I hear the '89 rehearsals in Philadelphia. Soundboard, best quality I ever heard on bootlegs. Forget "Flashpoint". And hey: Ronnie is playing guitar, quite good ... "One Hit to the Body" version is a killer, that's the real rebirth of Rock'n Roll.

The only thing in this matter I can imagine is that Ron Wood does the bass part and they get a new second guitarist, e.g. Mick Taylor, but it is an essential question if you can repeat the great time from 69-74. Ron Wood is a great bass player, hear "Break the Spell" from "Steel Wheels" e.g. But I would like to see Darryl Jones as an official Stone, Ronnie improves his guit

Buy it, great concerts, great sound. If you don't have a surround equipment, you have to switch to the stereo mode and than you have a perfect sound , too.
