I really doubt Keith is going to screw up intentionally because Mick wrote Brown Sugar. That is silly. Most fans are just going to hear Keith screw up not say he must have screwed up to piss Mick off. Rubbish. He is almost 62, yes 62 years old. Cold, damp, arthritic fingers are going to take some time to get going. They will never play like 25 years ago. But, during the 2015 tour ma

Mick has always been cocky now he's just an ass. Keith was cool when he did not care about what people thought, not he thinks he's "Joe Rock Star" and can't play anymore. Ron Wood would rather have fun at all costs then care about his playing. Charlie's few drum licks are weak and he would rather be playing jazz. Happy Holloween.

It took 8 years to come up with ABB, I just can't see another one coming right after. So I would say probably no next album. Farewell tour, I can't see the Stones saying this is our last tour at the start of one. I can see them saying that was our last tour at the end of this one. I'm not sure about overseas but for a farewell tour I would like to see 4 huge open air show

It would not be as enjoyable to read these posts without different points of view. It would be better though if the anger was kept in check. They are JUST opinions.

Q: How many guitarists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Twenty. One to change the bulb and nineteen to say, "Not bad, but I could've done better".

Please include Charlie and Ronnie from the start of the recording session. Spend some quality time weaving those guitar parts. Ron and Keith can cover the bass too. Mick, guitar fill only as little as necessary. Lots of harp. Keith and Ron back up singing. Instead of going back to your families every night in your own suites all 4 meet in Keith's suite, lock the door, get the g

Erik, that's terrible news. Heal up and don't stay pissed or bitter. The @#$%& will get what they deserve in this life or the next. It's good to hear Dylan can still put on a good show. Put on your favorite Stone's CD and enjoy while to heal up. Take Care.

I'm pretty sure it's not about the money, seems they have quite enough...... Here are the 40 richest British rock stars according to net worth, estimated by Business Age: 1. Paul McCartney, $750 million 2. Elton John, $500 million 3. Mick Jagger, $225 million 4. Keith Richards, $220 million 5. Tom Jones, $149 million 5 (tie). Engelbert Humperdinck, $149 mil

Mick is a machine. My cousin who is a long distance runner saw the Stones in T.O., he said he cound not keep up with Mick. Mick writes most songs, he plays guitar, he plays harp, he plays bass, he can play drums, his singing is better than ever. He's a perfectionist. He will live to be 100.

Just listen to this again. Quite impressed Brian plays really well. Excellent slide. I heard it was not released for a long time because the Stones were not happy with how they played. Sounds really good to me. They only played one Who song and I head that The Who kick their ass if you heard the whole thing. Anyone have it?

What if Wyman and Taylor start their own band? They could get Izzy Stradlin on the guitar, Axl Rose to sing. Who would drum? I'm not sure. Guns n' Stoneses 2006

NYCSTONESFREAK, as they near the end of their careers (maybe) you are expecting something deeper and more meaningful out of the songs they are creating. You may have a good point. The songs that you enjoy the most seem to be the deeper, more heartfelt ones. All Stones albums are a mix of styles. They alway have been. ABB has a great mix of songs. If you look at all their albums there ar

The Stones are a Rock and Roll band doing rock and roll songs, Johnny Cash is a country singer, singing about life and regret....... They are breaking into new ground that no one has done before...rock songs from 60 years olds that still rock...I like it. Maybe you think this would be more appropriate... "Oh no I'm too old to remember if that is you again" "Crutch

Are they not just giving the fans what they want. If you only like the old stuff, enjoy the old stuff, if you like the new stuff, great too! How can they be criticized for doing the only thing they know how to do as long as millions of fans keep wanting them to? They just got 85,000 people to attend an outdoor show outside of Moncton, Newbrunswick, Canada which has a population of 60

Speaking of bad you forgot, "Got Live If You Want It!" from 1966. The worst live album ever. They even overdubed phony screaming over two studio tracks to make them sound live. What a piece of dog shit that was. During GYYYO, LYL and SL, I think they just plugged everyone in, checked the levels to make sure you could hear every instrument and let it go. As for the later ones I&#

It's an interesting question especially since they wanted Ronnie in '69-70. I think it would have been fantastic. There was a reason they called for Ronnie first. Taylor was a great virtuoso and it helped keep the blues element going that started with Brian but I think Keith wanted the guitars to mesh more. In the end Taylor probably was right for the time, after Hendrix everyon
