Listen to Infamy off the Columbus 2005 boot. He sings better then he has in years. It's even better than the original. I think the funky horns gives the song a new bluesy, jazzy shuffle that Keith seems to really convey in his singing. He da man!

I always thought an encore was a song or 2 or 3 pulled out at the end if the crowd enjoyed the show sooo much they just had to have more. Since a Stones show is so big the encore is really just the last 2 songs of the show with a short break before. How silly is it really to have a song from the middle of the last stop become the encore in the next. Totally planned ahead of time. Afte

I can't listen to it all the way through. 1/10. Stones or not I dislike the style and the gospel singing.

I would not say "obsessed" but Sloan is a good band, they can really "rock" live. Besides so many older bands and songs, I have bought CD's lately by "Boy" and "Shazam" and "The sexy Magazines" in a search fo something new that is not all over top 40 radio. They are good but like most new music they sound like a re-hash of songs done

Brian lost all control at the end. He could not play in the studio or on tour. He was always wasted. Keith is probably right on with his comment about Brian but Keith had a lot of respect for Brian especially during the first 3 years.

Mick: Ronnie will you play the RFD riff I wrote once the song gets going so I can work some sexy moves without having to concentrate on guitar? Ronnie: I would, but you've been jabbing me all tour with you introductions... and besides I'm throwing in a surprise lead on it....... Mick: Keith will you play the RFD riff for me? Keith: I've got my own action on that one, g

We atarted out as Rushin' Vodka then became Distillery, 4 or 5 guy that like to drink and play Stones covers and originals. I play drums. It's fun but no one take's it too seriously. When playing for fun becomes "we MUST practice this song" we will stop. The ultimate jamming band. We always said if we had a real good CD out (by chance) we would tour on the CD but

It's sad to see such anger/frustration like Roul's over a music CD. If I went to every board to vent my hatred about every bad CD I've listened too it would be sad and pointless (and time consuming). Roul does not have like ABB at all, it's fine, it's ok. His post had 2 possible motives, anger the Stone's fans that like ABB or find others to back up his negiti

I guess my thought is it's all about expectations. ABB is far greater then most fans expected. Since they are 58, 61, 62 and 64 years old they are never going to play like they did in their 20's and 30's. How can anyone really compare new with old? You say Keith is bad, I said Keith is great.

No offence intended, I was reading it as a complete bash of ABB. Sorry if I jumped to conclusions.

Charlie does not get talked about much but I have to say, as a drummer (hack) of 20 years myself, if feel he is an amazing drummer and inspired me to start. Perhaps not the most exciting player, but his finese, timing, putting down the right back beat, rolls and accents are just right. His hi-hat work is almost a lost art. He is so much more than just a "solid" drummer. The si

But the big question..... Brian, MickT or Ronnie start with them? I assume if they started now they would be in their early 20's not 60's. Everything done back then had never been done before, now it's all been seen before.

I'd love to see the look on Bon Jovi's face if the Stones opened and then the stadium cleared out before Bon Jovi came on. Those that decided to stay could booo!

I know Mick was very involved in most songs, also I think Ronnie should have been called into the studio earlier to play more guitar but..... before I ever looked at the song credits I liked most of the songs off the album. Which is something I could not say about Mick's solo work or many songs from the Stones in the recent past. I'm sure some of your favorite Stones songs we

So let me get this straight, if Mick writes a Stones song now, it's not a Stone's song, but a Mick Jagger solo song? Isn't Mick Jagger in the Stones? has he been writing Stones songs for 40 years? Someone needs some help.

Free speech is fine but............. If a "fan" listened to MOST of what The Stones had done in the last 30 years and hated it I would suggest they are not REALLY a fan but had rights to an opinion. If a "fan" had NOT listened to MOST of what the Stones did in the last 30 years and claimed it all sucked then...............BV is probably right.

Talk about your favorite band. Mick Taylor did not write the songs. He play great leads on many songs but Mick and Keith wrote them. They same two that have been writing the songs for 40 plus years. Perhaps many here are Mick Taylor guitar fans more than Stones fans. Is there a Mick Taylor fan club site for them?

75' was before punk. Keith wanted someone he could work with to help create the sound he was missing. Dual interweaving guitars with unique guitars parts that together were hard to tell a part was what he wanted and got with Ronnie. By this time it was obvious that virtuosos were in a lot of bands. What Keith and Ronnie did at the biginning took a lot of work to make it sound like it d
