You can download the codec to play FLAC files from your WMP (recent version) without converting first. Drake, the Columbus, OH show is awesome -worth the wait. The sound quality is exceptional. Great job and thanks so much. I will seed till Friday 5 pm at that point I will have to shut down.

Mick Taylor would probably be in the top 20. He could play a blistering blues lead just as easily as taking a leak. There were so many virtuoso's then and since and he was just another one. Great guitarist tend to write great guitar songs, that what make them great. Mick did not do that. Top 10 lists are stupid anyway, it's all subjective, and music is feel not charts.

I was just joking with that. I could not help but remember Ronnie and Keith (mostly 80-81') more than will to stop playing in the middle of a song to take a drag, drink or just put an arm around the other while back up singing. The other would alway keep it chugging though. Keith and Ronnie were very confident in each others playing and so relaxed. That was the Stones that got me hooke

It would be impossible to reproduce the magic of the origial Sway. It had that sound, that dark feel, it was almost mesmerizing. Charlie's drumming was simply awesome, so were they all. I hope they keep playing it, if they just started slower it would have been closer to the original groove and Mick would not need the interjections like "here we go" and "I tell ya&qu

They could, but so many of the wide and varied (half assed) Stones fans out of 60,000 people would want the big show with the polish, the back up singing and the multiple horns. It's hard enough to make that many people happy, and beside who would play guitar while Keith and Ronnie were singing!?!? They should at least sing back up on the B stage.

I am with you 100%. That was THE Stones sound back in the day especially Keith singing back up. But seriously, they could get away with it in a small club but not the big shows.

I find it compares closer to the Some Girls/Emotional Rescue era. No heavy back up singing or horn sections, just straight forward rock tunes. As good as it is, I have noticed I don't have one of the songs form ABB stuck in my head all day. Most songs don't have the big "hook", but overall are good songs and together make a great album. In other words, I agree. Lots o

Mick has already proven he can't act. Keith won't have to act, just mumble a few lines like, "Im Bootstrap Keef Turner n' me son here, waz his name, heeezzz a cat from way back, you know what I mean.....(Keith sytled chuckle here).

A lot of reviewers consider DTF "filler", the song simply rocks.

A**holes is pretty strong language, we are just discussing. Mick Taylors playing was great, he did add a lot to the Stones in that time although he was not who they were first looking for. Considering all the virtuosos coming out at that time in rock, he was a great choice. It gave the Stones some of what people were hearing in so many other bands of the day. Mick Jagger called trying to

It does need some work. Keith does not seem to be driving the song as he usually does. Charlie has a little trouble leading it through the second half, and Mick's "here we go" after Ronnie's first lead sounds more like a "here we BETTER go". All in all a blast to have and to listen too. THANKS!

Any good blues player could have done what MT did with the Stones. He was a session player hired to do his job. Ronnie, as Keith has stated numerous time helped get them back to the route of the Stones sound which Keith always wanted dual guitar weaving.

A freind saw MT play in Kingston, Ontario recently and he just played slide over 12 bar blues. (can't Mick Jagger do that now?) Had to cover some Stones songs since he had nothing else. Didn't look to healthy either he said. The fancy finger work was sorely missing. Everyone only remembers the MT from 33 years ago.

"According to some rumours" is a great way to start rumours. It may be best to leave this one alone until someone finds a recent pic of Ronnie smoking his crack pipe....he already gets shit on enough for things we know he has done/does.

Maybe I'm off with Sister Morphine. Looking at the list with Dead Flowers and Laugh, I nearly Died, which are not very soft to me, I figured the slower tempo, but powerful SM would work in the mix.

Put ABB in your 5 disc changer with 4 other great Stones (or other farorite bands) albums. Hit random. Enjoy partying all night long. I did this at a stag the other night and enjoyed every time ABB came on, never wanting to skip one song. The album is great and has staying power with a few potential classics down the road.

A close friend saw Mick Taylor in Kington, Ontario recently. His set we very blues based and he play mostly slide. Well Mick Jagger can play slide?! I doubt, 30 years later he can rip the leads like he did in the early 70's. He apparently did not at that show. Mick and Keith need Ronnie. Ronnie is the sizzle on the steak. He has a great outlook and is best suited to The Stones wh

Retired_Dog if you go to every show then you have a right to complain, if not, why do you care? Complaining about something that you are not even a part of is just pointless. They can't play a lot of other stuff since they have to perform for 45,000-85,000 people each time. It sounds like you enjoy complaining about them more than listening to them. Maybe find a new up and comi

I'n my opinion he could play great solo's from '63 to about '83. I could live off Ronnie and Keith dual guitar weave/riffing/lead changing from '78-'83. I think once he got off the herion and sobered up it took a few years but Keith realized he was a star. He started doing leads while looking at the crowd instead of making sure his fingers were doing what his b

All I know is it's easy to criticize but think how lucky we are as Stones fans to STILL be able to see them play! When I see them playing or just see a short segment about them on TV I get just as excited as when I was 12 years old and could not believe what I was hearing. I not sure what it is exactly but it grabbed me and has not let go in 26 years. I've seen every Stone (includi

I glad you can at least hear his playing. For 1/2 the songs on the SW and B2B tours they had Ronnie so low in the mix he might as well have been playing air guitar. Keith was dominating the leads and most did not sound too impressive, too many string bending riffs out of key. It's only rock and roll...but I like it.

Keith's lead are nothing to write home about either. Ronnie has always played by feel which I admire but his 58 years old fingers are not they were. Besides if I was him and had to follow Mick Jagger's slide guitar I would be "you know what...screw you guys, you only get back what you give. Since you didn't call me till the end of the recording for ABB so I could put some
