QuoteDandelionPowderman All the posting history prior to (I belive) 2005 was wiped (something with the server?), so it's hard to go by posting history. I believe many have been on here since 1995 (or was it 1996?), when the site was launched. I joined when I searched for info about the B2B-tour in 1997. So it's rather the 26 or 27-club I had a magazine subscription. I am

I think she is great. I can’t understand why her microphone level is so low - they should turn her up a bit

From these clips I think they are sounding fantastic and the US tour will be brilliant. I really hope they come to the UK and Europe next year.

Quotetreaclefingers Quotebv The NO COVID 2022 TOUR. I am in. And not wanting to be inflammatory in any way, but just wondering when "it's over"? If Keith were not able to be there, in your mind if Mick and Ronnie still wanted to tour as the stones would that fly? Or Keith and Ronnie, with no Mick? I mean they could clearly still tour, but when is it no longer a "R

Quotejohn lomax Quotegotdablouse Perhaps the two most "infamous" (solo and repeat) trainwrecks are the SMU intro at BOTH the 2013 HP shows of course, aka as the "Scarfgate" ;-) July 6th July 13th (on this one I'm pretty sure you can hear an IORR member shouting !) Better sound on this one and you can hear the crowd in a bit of a shock after that flub ;-)

Quotegotdablouse Yeah, what a useless/shameful video... So I found the one that shows Keith not being there for the first 1+ minute of Miss You, it was indeed Paris in 2017, on October 22nd. Can't see Mick do the "double take" when he can't see Keith. I might be confusing it with another Keith momentary disappearance. What is funny about this is that Keith not being t

It’s a really tough question.... I think Charlie is so integral to the sound of the Stones that perhaps they should call it a day. However, I can see an alternative.....maybe Charlie’s death will spur the others on to get the album finished and to be more adventurous - and so perhaps with Steve Jordan they might go out on a limb and maybe even be a bit more current... they might feel that it’s

QuoteBashlets It’s overall a great album. The only track I skip nowadays is Neighbours. I personally think it’s aged better than SOME GIRLS but I’m sure I’m in the minority with my opinion. I agree with you - I prefer it to Some Girls. I particularly love Side Two (all of it)

My guess is its the black les paul custom. He used this guitar live in 1969 forn5 string songs such as Jumping Jack Flash, and si, as the town Sugar riff is on 5 string, I think its the Custom. Also, the riff has that deep full sound tha Custom has, whereas the Dan Armstrong is a bit thinner/harsher (ie more of a single.coil.soind). But this is all just my.guess....

Its a dreadful song but actually I think I like this version better than the album version. I think his solo is OK - it is in the right key I think, and its sort of the standard solo he plays on every song these days...

I quite like it. The dumb blonde models in the front row are a bit annoying but the rest of it is OK. The part that really annoys me is the bit where Scorcese is saying "It would be good to know what song they will start with" because he then says "they usually start with a guitar, so is it Keith Or Ronnie: - if he us the massive Stones fan he claims to be then he would know that R

Quotejbwelda warped vinyl and defective disks? Didn't and don't expect that, though now that you mention it, I do recall reports of those things. But I doubt I will open my copy anyhow, already have the red vinyl set and more than one version of the original release. This was strictly a completist purchase on my part. Don't even dig the music all that much to be honest. jb Int

My band is called Fendahlene and we have just released an album called High and Low and Back Again. Thus song is theatest single - sort of a mellow Faces/early 70s Stones vibe. Its called 'Dead and Gone"

Quotefilstan Good shots Rockman! Thanks for posting. Was this this concert where Keith and Bobby were supposedly tripping? Didn't Keith talk about this in "Life"? The one where they were tripping was the Randwick Racecourae gig. There are hardly any photos of this gig, and the ones I have seen have been black and white and fairly blurry. Would love to see more photos from Randwic

I got the video tape of this for Christmas 1987. At the time it seemed so ancient, but it was only 18 years earlier....so the same gap as from now to the Licks tour. Its weird how things changed so much from the 60s to the 80s, but if you look back through the 2000s it seems like things have hardly changed at all (where the Stones are concerned...)

There used to be a store called Lawsons in Sydney Australia (it may still be there) that sold second hadnnrecords and also lots of bootlegs (I remember they had a lot of the Swingibg Pig Beatles and Stones boots). More recently, a store called Utopia (also in Sydney) had some great stones bootleg cds - I bought some great q969 and 1972 tour bootlegs there in the 90s

Maybe they should take a different approach - ie rather than focusing on an album and trying to make it a classic, they could just release singles on a regular basis. In today's world of streaming a lot of artists (especially up and coming ones) are focussed on regularly releasing content (ie singles and eps). The Atones "Rainbow" EP is an example of this. But maybe instead of repa
