At Monkee concerts in 1966 and 1967, they had a huge screen positioned behind the band where they showed slides, film clips, etc. Sometimes they would show clips of civil rights marches during I Wanna Be Free and other stuff (including the Stones). Looks like an agent took his daughter to show and tried to connect the dots. Hey, if RFK told them to spy on MLK, then even the Monkees are fair game.

Huge, huge Columbo fan here, Swan Song is in my Top 5 episodes. However, I can't see Keith and Parsons watching these--except maybe the first season--and even then the dates are iffy. The Richards/Parsons thing is so blown out of proportion at times. Next thing you'll find out is that they memorized every episode of Get Smart! or something.
