We have to live for the moment without clear explanation. But we may be tempted to prefer made up answer than to stay in ignorance. That is humanity.

Touring economy is konwn to be a risky business. But we are talking about the Rolling Stones - quite a successful band. I mean, rock concert is basically come with your amp on a stage and play loud. From the 80's onward, if you can't do money from just playing on a stage when you are the Rolling Stones it is because you just don't do something right. The steel wheels de

The exact reason for Keith declining touring : is it touring itself being too tiring or him being physically unable to perform several gigs in a row ?

I don't think the Rolling Stones are touring only for the money. I think they are basicaly touring because they LIKE it, and even as artists they just NEED it to. I am clueless about their future of touring, at over 80's age such announce are sounding like end of the story, but I guess that they will do their best to find solution to be back playing live on a stage.

Considering two aspects : - Klein is no more and the release of Brussels 1973, L&G, the expanded GYYYO or RSRNRC on record is the proof that the band are now able to reach new agreements with ABKCO - Market. As long as these release will generate profit there is hope to see such ones. Personaly I would dream to get some the London 73 gig, featuring this incredible SFM version.

Quoteexilestones In the new release of At the Max, there is a new edit of the video. I think they shortened the video when Mick was stabbing Skippy in the balls during Street Fighting Man. Poor Skippy! Mick deflated his masculinity. You mean that the screen in the second picture wasn't shown ? The clip (from the DVD I presume) below is what I got yesterday video:

Quoterollmops It seems to me that they sped up the frames during BS and Satisfaction; Mick's running like Speedy or the Road runner! Funny but I don't know why the production did that. I had the same feeling. I don't remember which song but I noticed the tempo was faster than I am used to from that tour.

Just back from early evening screening. Good time - no more no less. For the fun to see the Rolling Stones live on a big screen.

QuoteIrix Quotespikenyc You can listen to all of it here for free. But in poor sound quality compared to BluRay or HiRes. I think youtube audio quality is good enough to decide if it is worth purchasing or not. I am currently listening to SOYCD on my system and I am baffled how good it is for an audience source. I hope they will do the same with a recording taken from In the Fles

QuoteRollingFreak Quoteds1984 QuoteRollingFreak They would obviously have been John songs because you could insert the other 3 living Beatles onto a demo he had made, but not the other way around. It made more sense to have them work through a John track vs. a track Paul wrote that only George and Ringo could also contribute to. To keep the "spirit of the Beatles", this was the only way

If people like it, power to them. I don't and the video reall

The Threatles IMHO were a flaw from day one I listened Free As A Bird with open mind but was send back immediatly to reality : they had worked on subpar material and with that you can't achieve something of the level of the Beatles. It was just an impossible task.

The man is Paul "Wix" Wickens As previously said he is part of Paul core band since 1989, the only one remaining since that tour. Some people like him, some people don't. As we said in my country, opinions are like @#$%&, everybody is entitled to have one.

Quotefrankotero It’s got to be hard or even impossible for some people to maintain vocals to old age. Playing instruments is easier I think. It's really up to personal abilities. I know some artist whose voice at 80 was not ageing too bad and some guitarists whose ability unfortunately faded earlier than others. Each artist is a different case.

QuoteMore Hot Rocks I finally realized that a lot of people are tone deaf. Yep A simple comparaison between Back in the U.S. and Good Evening New York City already shows the truth. But Paul is a showman and his energy backed by a raw band may fool a lot of people. And things sound a little better live at the venue than on recordings.

A lot of people can cope with Paul's voice declining. I can't. But I had the privilege to attend him in 1993 at a time when the voice was still there.
