Quotejahisnotdead I've probably written this on this thread before but this arrangement of satisfaction has always been my favorite. Wasn't The Rolling Stones covering Otis recreating Satisfaction ? My fave live version is the one from the next tour performed on the Les Paul.

I'll take the bait for everyone else: In a good way? Doesn't seem like it. You read it right. I have heard Rolling Stones '90 bootleg month before and was anticipating the Flashpoint release as an improvemen

I'd like to see if a commercial exploitation in Europe of The Beatles Live at Stowe School by an established reissue label - such as for example Bear Family Records - will see the light. If they can do it without being sued or not.

Well in case of unlawful fixation the artist has the moral right to prevent the tape to be published. I don't get Darryl bashing Both Mick and Keith decided that he was good enough to play for them. Do these fans think that Doug Wimbish would have been a better option if he had not turned down the offer? I should remember that Mick T was also considered by somes as not fitting the Rolling Stones spirit.

Note : The Rolling Stones disbanded after Dirty Works and went solo ventures before the taste of success made Sir Mick and Rebel Keith bury the hatchet. So The Kinks (1964-1996) are beating the Stones in uniterrupted logevity.

QuoteDoxa We need to also remember that the curtain set by 'Beatles Directive' - that of ANY recording reaching 70 years will be Public Domain - is getting closer and closer... Compared to that I think some non-officially released stuff is not really such a big deal... - Doxa Start january 1st 2034. Which artists will be still alive to be concerned ?

Steel Wheel was at a time when the Rolling Stones were active in recording new music. The Rolling Stones creating active years almost ended with A Bigger Bang. Since that a blues cover album and a few singles went before Hackney Diamonds, otherwise they went a cashing machine on past material exploitation. So this statistic doesn't really moves me.
