Now that the tour is extended to Australia and possibly other dates in 2014, I wonder what the further appearance stagewise will be. In Arenas in the US and London they had the tongue stage. Will they bring it down under for the supposed arena dates as well? As for the stadium gigs, there is no jumbo stage this time so far. Considering the fact that during the ABB-tour they used the 'k

Quotebye bye johnny According to this tweet from State Of Emergency, Keith's cooking up something with Scratch Perry today. In the studio now with Lee Perry, Keith Richards and Steve Jordan. History in the making. State of Emergency over New York City! 'History in the making' with Keith usually refers to half a song, some jamming, a guest performance, or maybe (like the I

What's the deal with the Japanese and their extras anyway? Will they not buy something if they don't get a bit more than the rest of the world? Weird tradition.

QuoteBellajane I don't know what it is about the Stones' music that inspires women to remove their clothes. I think it's a myth anyway, I've sang Sweet Neocon to numerous girls but nothing was removed.

QuoteDoxaOne thing for a certain. The Rolling Stones is much bigger thing than the whole Hyde Park Summer Festival or whatever it is called. Made one almost feel sad for all those nice pubs and bars and whatever there was all around, since they really were secondary, Don't feel sorry! In spite of the nice facades, which made the stalls look rather different, it was all the same Heineken-d

QuoteGrison Björnulf, thank you very much for this message. I was surprised when Mick Jagger said at Hyde Park 2: This is the final concert of THIS tour. However I felt that they may have made a short note decision for whatever reason and to release the pressure for expecations of further concerts. What else would he have said? It WAS the final concert of that tour. No other concerts were

Since by now I am too old for sexist remarks, I wonder what dignity you express when you go to perform on a cemetry. And then it would be nice if you could decide if you try to be either gothic, or celtic, or cute.

This thread is the best thing that could happen to mr. Ford. So, as I said before, I loved the yeti the mintute I saw it. And, as a hypocrite, I love anything the Stones put out in my quest in being a nonconformist.

This would be witty, if he'd managed to actually reflect the way Jagger behaves in an interview. However this is nothing like it. This is too gay, SNL style. He'd never say darling to a guy anymore.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Er, I said this is not mp3. What is it then? The problem I have with i Tunes on my pc is that I don't really get it. I just don't like software that tries to 'synchronise' everything from everywhere. I just want to manage files through Windows explorer, old fashioned dragging, copying and pasting. If I can't turn audio files to mp3 and

Quotebv QuoteLimbostone I read on the ticket the festival is sponsored by Heineken. Ouch, that probably means you can't get anything else... I'm taking my brother on the 13th and he hates it, where for me it is just a mild dislike. I think I won't tell him until we're in... otherwise I might have a spare ticket... Heineken control a lot of beer brands including these ones

I think it depends on the sound system. I ran it plainly through my tiny laptop speakers. At some point I turned it off because Keith became inaudible and everytime Lisa opened her mouth my ears went. (Apart from her loudness through my speakers, I seriously started wondering if she was out of tune as well as out of breath, but that's a different matter).

I loved the show and the crowd too actually. Didn't notice any unfriendlyness but then again I was a bit backwards into T3. Quite relaxed. At the final bows the fact that the end of the show also marked the end of my summer holidays, and somewhat the end of a lifestyle (I'll be a father next November and will have to reset priorities), even managed to bring a tear to my eye. I thi
