QuoteTheGreek QuoteLieB Some Girls bonus better than the original ... I don't know what you guys have been smoking. Sure, the bonus songs are nice, but they don't have the melodies and depth of the material on Some Girls. Same with Exile and Sticky bonus discs, although they contain a few gems. I made a Spotify playlist with my own mixture of the "best of the Taylor years", co

It's a crime that they left Slave off this album and instead used tracks like Melody and Cherry Oh Baby. I usually only listen to Hand Of Fate, Crazy Mama and Hey Negrita on this one. I never liked Fool To Cry because Jagger's falsetto gets too annoying.

QuoteLeonidP Quoteboogaloojef The Some Girls bonus disc is better than Emotional Rescue. Absurd! It is what it is, a bonus of outtakes. Great to have, as is, but must keep it mind, it is just a set of bonus songs, released to milk Stones fans for more money. Several tracks would have made great b-sides but for the most part the songs are not better than anything released officially. The p

It could be that other U.S. vendors are not carrying the 1 cd/4 dvd version since it is expensive. The 2 limited edition Amazon versions have the same descriptions but one is $10 more. I wonder if the more expensive one is a Blu-Ray version.

Quotealimente This FB affair is just the latest example of a red line of extremely ill-advised career decisions that have haunted Taylor since he left the Stones. When Mick Taylor was asked to tour with Free, he was still a member of the Stones and did not want to leave the Stones at that time.

Quotelem motlow it's actually worse than you think.....Taylor had a chance to join Bad Company when he left the stones. that might not seem like a big deal now in 2016 but Badco were THE bigtime new band in 74.they were the first band to sign on swansong and their debut was huge, they went on to have a great career through the 70's.even keith said "nobody wanted to work this year

The worst move ever made by anyone. In the 80's MT tried to justify his departure from the Stones with the "I needed to get away from the drug culture among t

Mick Taylor made the right decision for him at the time by quitting. Supposedly part of the reason he quit was to get away from the drug culture of the Stones. It is easy in retrospect to say it was the wrong decision but if he is still alive because of the decision then it was the correct one for him at that time.

His argument is that if they are are showing photographs with him in them and making money off photographs with him in them then he should be invited. I don't really have a problem with that. If in addition, they are denying him royalties then I can see why he would be upset.

If I remember correctly, the Facebook page says that when the Stones switched record companies and signed a new deal, he stopped receiving the proper royalty payments from his time in the band.

According to Mick Taylor's Facebook page he is not getting the royalties he is owed for his time with the band. He apparently is not receiving his 20% share that was split among the 5 band members in the band at that time.

Songs that are on the 2007 collection but were not on the 1975 collection are: 1."Tell Me" 2."Heart of Stone" 3."Play with Fire" 4."I'm Free" 5."Mother's Little Helper" 6."Dandelion" 7."2000 Light Years from Home" 8."N

The Rolled Gold + cd reissue is arguably the best compilation of the Abkco material. It contains all of Hot Rocks and part of More Hot Rocks + some songs that do not appear on either compilation. It also contains some key album tracks that were not issued as singles so they are not included in The London Years - The Singles Collection.
