Quotewhitem8 I don't hear brickwalling on the Ward releases. I have gotten all their vinyl releases and they sound fantastic. It's on the bonus cd of Brussels that came with the Marquee Club 1971. The sound on the vinyl is supposedly better than the cds.

QuoteKoen Is there an option to just buy the Paradiso DVD, or is it always in a bundle with other CDs, etc? No, you can only buy the documentary separately from the shows.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quoteblueswithafeeling QuoteIrix QuoteDandelionPowderman The cd as well? That's cool, if it's still available. From the Vault - The Marquee Club Live in 1971 + The Brussels Affair 1973 (DVD+3CDs) For $104.35 still available on . Or £79.02 on . If it's still available in Japan, maybe can deliver it too .... Someone sent me a rip of these

QuoteDandelionPowderman IMO, Emotional Rescue has more facets musically than Some Girls. Both are very diverse records, actually - more than people give them credit for, With the exception of Black And Blue, there just isn't a better-sounding album than ER in the Stones catalogue, imo. The problem is that better-sounding does not translate to a good record. If they would have in

QuoteDandelionPowderman Brussels was released as a Deluxe set on Universal / Rolling Stones Records / Promopub. If you could afford $500 for the Deluxe set. It hasn't been released in a version most people can obtain and afford outside of the download version.

QuoteRocky Dijon BRUSSELS AFFAIR was released by Ward Records in a Deluxe Edition of Eagle Rock's MARQUEE CLUB release. That version was a bonus only for Japan and was not released elsewhere unless you managed to get a limited edition import copy.

Quoteshortfatfanny QuoteMr.D QuoteRipThisBone Quotebarbabang I want to see the 2nd Paradiso show in the Vault series. Too great to remain unreleased. I prefer El Mocambo 1977. Paradiso 1 was superior to the 2nd. Hard to believe Hè!? We are talking video's here, right? The Vault series is all video with CD's thrown in to raise the price. El Mocambo wasn't filmed so it wo

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quoteboogaloojef QuoteMingSubu QuoteLeonidP Something early, we have too many live shows from later day. How about a show from 1966, with Last Time, 19th Nervous, Lady Jane, etc. That would rule! Something with Brian. Since the shows usually didn't last long, give us a 4-5 show boxset. Loaded with good goodies. I'm not sure how many good sounding Brian Jone

Quotewonderboy I'd be interested in hearing one of their pre-tour rehearsal workouts, if they ever had a tape running for two or three hours. Hear the banter and the stop/starts, the oldies and the new songs they might give up on, just the Stones at work. I doubt they would ever put something like that out officially. Some of that type of stuff is available on bootlegs however.

QuoteLynd8 How about the rest of "Stripped"? It simply amazes me how they always find a way to leave the most important stuff off. I LIKE THE NEW PACKAGE - let me make that clear, but we get "Honky Tonk Women" again and again and they leave off some real rarities like Still A Fool, Jump On Top Of Me, Can't Get Next To You (at least we got "Meet Me In The Bottom)

Emotional Rescue is weak. I only like about 3 songs on it and Emotional Rescue is not one of them. Let Me Go is the best song on it in my opinion.

Ok I just watched the documentary. Here are my favorites. The pre-show Tumbling Dice warm up from the Paradiso and the sound check of I Can't Get Next To You from Brixton Academy. None of the Toshiba outtakes from the Stripped Companion were included on the documentary dvd unless there were Easter Eggs that I could not find.

The booklet notes provide the following information about the cd. Street Fighting Man was the version included on the original Stripped album. Gimme Shelter is the Wild Horses b-side version. The version of Like A Rolling Stone was previously available as a download only. The rest of the tracks on the cd are not previously released.

19th Nervous Breakdown seems out of place on this compilation. Don't Lie To Me from Metamorphosis would have worked here. The outtake Reelin''N' Rockin' would have been a good choice as well. They could have added the live Let It Rock from Leeds instead but they probably didn't have the rights to that. Roll Over Beethoven, Beautiful Delilah or Memphis Tennes

I am pretty disappointed in the cd track listing. Aside from Jump On Top Of Me and Meet Me In The Bottom, they still could have included tracks like It's All Over Now, Monkey Man, I Can't Get Next To You, Connection etc. instead of the warhorses or alternate versions of songs that were already included on the original Stripped.
