NickB, thank you very much for your kind words. I wouldn't claim to have THE biggest but I certainly have a good stash. There are others who have far more bootlegs, far more records (JR!) or far more tickets etc... What is relatively unique about my collection (and I say relatively) is its diversity. I have some great pieces in every category and across all eras, it is simply impossible

I am Matt Lee from the UK :-) I prefer to use real names as I think it helps with several things and although I don't judge those that prefer to use a nick name I do what I believe: 1) It helps you to get to know people and facilitates offline social occasions. It is hard enough remembering names and faces with out real names and nick names. 2) It promotes trust which is very impor

T&A, your a noble man providing such a service! Set lists were all over downstairs! It wasn't quite the last minute thing it was made out to be in the movie :-) It was even written out by hand on wooden chocks for the rolling cameras. I had a seat in the first tear where Bill was sitting (I can't remember what they call that in the US - it's the circle in the UK). Anyway N

If you are after posters from this period I would also suggest the following for their artistic qualities. There are many other but these I think are the best 10 that have come into my head as fast as I can type this reply - in no particular order!. Prices are of course dependant on condition and should be used as a guide. I have posted pictures of all of these previously but please shout if y

Vudicus, The reprints (where available) aren't all in the same size. Some are available in the tour Lithos with the printed signatures in the same size but only 72, 76 and 78. If you are going to invest in framing unless they are standard factory frames you might as well save for the real posters as custom frames aren't cheap. For sure though if you get a standard size you can buy

Until proven otherwise I don't believe the "padded silk" TSMR actually exists. The only person I know who claims to have one happens to have been proved less than perfectly honest before. If anyone has actually held one in their hands please step forward. As for Record Collector until someone honest that actually has one shows it JR and I have advised them to dump it from their

I am delighted to announce the release of Sebastian's latest work "The Fugitive". Artists often choose to dedicate part of their career to being a master or one subject. Sometimes places, or even themes. And this is the case for Kruger, if there is one subject he knows better than any other, it's Keith Richards. To capture the otherwise enigmatic Keith Richards as a painter

Jazwec, I hate to burst your bubble but that is a $5 album that has been ruined with a black marker. They are all very average attempts at the Stones autographs. Real sets are also just not that cheap (unless you get them yourself and that isn't free if you count the expenses and the many many hours or waiting - but I would do it all again and again) I can't find it but I have do

At this point I usually don't know I want something until I find out it exists. I have every 70's poster I know about and / or want for example. I have many signed guitars etc... but a few stage used hammered ones would be great! Something you also can't complete is 60's paper goods. There are so many posters etc... but so few of each surviving (if any). I always need m

My most expensive (purchase price) vinyl doesn't come close to $10,000. The items I have spent big on are original drawings, 60's posters and instruments....

So we are talking value not rarity (subtle difference although they are linked of course). The most I have paid for a single item is close to $20,000 (This is not an item I have posted). I have paid c.$10,000 for a several of items already posted but many of my most valuable items were traded for so it is hard to calculate their true cost.

JR, You need to specify what you mean by rare! Do you mean rare or do you mean expensive? Surely a one off acetate (if truly a one off) is as rare as it gets, you can't get rarer than 1 copy. Nothing is rarer but it doesn't make it the most desireable and therefore expensive like say a Street Fighting Man. Has anyone actually got a UK Poison Ivy? As you know my vinyl collection d

JR, 99% of my framing is done by Martyn at the Movie Poster Art Gallery in London at 1 Colville Place (www.mpag.co.uk). I take him the stuff and he just uses his judgement. The vast majority of his work is music and movie stuff so he knows what he is doing and for central London he is very reasonably priced. He uses all archival materials and UV glass so you can be sure your pieces can be enjo
