QuotePiotrRSpl In his autobiography “Life”, Keith recollects being diagnosed as infected with HCV and clearing this infection without any treatment, i.e., experiencing spontaneous HCV clearance. As he writes, “I cured myself of hepatitis C without even bothering to do anything about it” Doesn't Keith also say in "Life" (or was it some interview?) that he went to some doctor/speci

Due to living in a non-north american part of the world, no Stones show experience at all (other than youtube) ... I'll make up for that with the 2025 European tour

Quotebv They have been touring North America and Europe since 2017, because that is where the big money is. Now they have a new album to tour, then touring the WHOLE world do make sence, and not just the two biggest markets. Is it known what the Far East HD sales figures are, also as compared to Europe and North America? (@georgelicks?) As already pointed out by others, also I believe that h

QuoteRollingFreak I've been meaning to watch The Holy Mountain too. It's amazing that he's still alive too. You should! Holy Mountain was my first Jodorowsky movie, back in the late 70s, when still at school. No matter what one thinks of it, to me it's one of the movies one should have seen. In the Dune documentary, Jodorowsky suggests to use his story board (which he pre

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl It would make a great novel, or documentary, to find some of the writers today. Names might need to be changed to protect the very, very naughty! If UK copyright law resembles other European copyright laws (which it might, from pre-Brexit times), those letters' contents are protected by copyright. You'd have to track down each writer and get their consent to publi

There is a great documentary, "Jodorowsky's Dune", that gives you a good idea of what he had intended to do. On the one hand it's a pity the movie never got made, on the other hand, considering what was technically possible back then, the movie would perhaps seem outdated and unintentionally hilarious today. Also, it may well have ended as the most famous movie that never g

Quotejackflash27 Why Austria? I would guess the 'must-visit' countries are: Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands. The last one, because of selfish reasons Why Austria? Because the show there attracts fans not only from Austria but also from surrounding countries such as Hungary, Slovenia, Czechia, Slovakia, Croatia, etc., or even - depending on where in Austria - northern Italy

If the music by groups currently not, or no longer touring should be kept alive, cover bands or tribute bands are a logical conclusion. Think of all the Mozart or Beethoven tribute bands all over the world ... Or you do it ABBA-style, producing your own digitized tribute show. I see the role of musicians in a - say - Pink Floyd tribute band who play the songs in a note-perfect way not much di

QuoteTheflyingDutchman The only song that I can relate to at this point is "Live with Me". They didn't play it in 1792 I believe. My Stones vocabulary is very limited. Makes me wonder which songs they did play in 1792. It's been a while since then, after all ...

No idea whether some expanded edition/s is/are in the pipeline, but when HD was released, Mick famously said they are already about two thirds done with the next album (I understood this like two thirds of the songs are in the can and ready to go, but who knows if this interpretation is correct). That is, in principle there would be ample time to finish the album in time for a subsequent Summer t

If I remember this correctly (please correct me if I'm wrong), the TY version of Slave was built from two takes of the song, originally recorded in the Black and Blue sessions. A real shame they never played it live. 1989/1990 would also have been a good time, considering the sound, spirit and playing abilities of the band at that time.

Although such a docu is rather for te hardcore fan base. They could sell it in a package together with the album and thus generate also a few more album sales (i.e. sell the album again to people who al
