This thread makes me think of ticket prices in my youth ... Go figure: The first big international act I saw was Santana in 1975, I was 13 and Santana were really BIG back then, and the ticket was 40 ATS (Austrian Schillings). Back then, a regular LP was 162 ATS in Austria, thus the ticket was a quarter of the price of an LP. In 1977, a ticket for Pink Floyd was - if memory serves - 12 DM (Ger

Quoteschwonek Stones in Munich beginning of July 2026? Tour page.... Tickets for Helene Fischer in the Allianz Arena on July 17th 2026 are already on sale: A Stones show on that date in that location seems pretty impossible (unless the Stones open for Helene Fischer ... ) I have not checked for other available slots in the Allianz Arena.

Otherwise no news here, only some cautions speculations about a potential show in Vienna and the new album potentially being released in time for the tour start. The new Faces album (means, new songs) has been rumoured for a number of years now, it just never seems to actually materialize.

QuoteMAF Quotedoitywoik First cautious speculations about two shows in Vienna in 2026: Ha - they quote iorr! Yeah, they do! I forgot to mention that. I believe the two-Vienna-shows speculation stems from the fact that at some point, two Vienna shows were rumoured for 2025, and they believe that a 2026 European tour would cover roughly the same cities as the 2025 tour would have covere

First cautious speculations about two shows in Vienna in 2026: The Ernst-Happel-Stadion (formerly Praterstadion) seems largely available in Summer. So far, there's only Linkin Park on June 9, Helene Fischer on July 11, and Die Toten Hosen on Sept 12:

If they are planning on a show in Vienna (or anywhere else in Austria), April would seem too early. Unstable weather and generally too cold for a stadium or outdoor show. Dates from later May onwards would make more sense. No idea about potential football interference in Austria, or other people's tours.

QuoteGasLightStreet A strange aspect of 2025 vs whenever is a good riff... Start Me Up is a perfect "recent" example... in accordance to streaming and blah blah blah... Why hasn't Keith come up with "the riff"? Maybe he has and we just have not heard it yet? After all, we are still waiting for Keith's three (or so) dynamite riffs! (... or have we heard them alr

For the moment, I prefer to interpret bv's post as hinting at a possible summer tour in 2026. He doesn't say anything about a tour in support of an album, be it the hoped-for new album or a potential extended B&B. It is clear that we would love to get a new album or an extended B&B. But wishful thinking should not be mistaken for facts. Regarding B&B I simply know nothin

Is it confirmed at all that (if) they are really done with recording/overdubbing/mixing/sequencing etc. so that the album could (in principle) go to the pressing plants and printers?

Quotebye bye johnny A source added, “Taylor says he never received compensation for the theft and is mystified as to how his property found its way into the Met’s collection.” The question is what Taylor really said. After all, the quote is not attributed to Taylor himself but to a "source". Perhaps he was only asked if he knew how the guitar got to the Met and he said he doesn'

QuoteElmo Lewis Please don't ever wheel Mick (or Keith or Ronnie) out there in a glorified wheelchair that looks like a throne! In 1991 Jethro Tull opened their show with Ian Anderson wheeled on stage in a wheel chair by two 'nurses' - of course he jumped out of it as the music started and did his usual show. Nice gag but wouldn't really fit the Stones.

Depends on when (what year) the interview was done. Bill's solo album (Drive My Car) was released in August 2024, that is, ~one and a half months before the interview was published. So, if the interview was done one year before that, say, middle of 2023, he was in fact still working on Drive My Car, and HD with his track on it was not yet released. (Not sure when his latest books came out, t

Quotejahisnotdead Good to know there's a little confirmation. It's exciting knowing that the next Rolling Stones album isn't going to be a decade away! Mind you, it's not Hamrick who says they are in the studio, it's the writer of the piece who says according to their sources they are in the studio recording a new album. Still good news if true, and not even implausi
