Yes and the Pit for Aerosmith is $1,100. Seats somewhat close to the stage are $2,000 plus. Crazy prices!

Maybe they will do a indoor arena tour latter in the year? To me, it seems they should hold the release date for the new album until they are ready to tour behind it.

I listen to the “Deep tracks” and “Underground Garage” channels quite a bit. Certainly both those channels have played live tracks - but the bulk of what they play are studio tracks.

Thanks for your confirmation Bjornulf. Of course I wish it was better news but knowing the status of the tour helps us all to make plans. We are still fortunate to have the band active and preparing to release new music. Let’s keep a positive thought for next year!

Thanks for posting the articles Cristiano and Bjornulf. I have a good friend who was at one of the shows - he will enjoy reading the articles. He was a student at the university during that time.

My first Rolling Stones show was July of 78 at Soldier Field in Chicago. As I remember it was the 8th of July and a beautiful sunny day.I assume it was a sold out show. Several opening bands - Journey, Peter Tosh and Southside Johnny.

If it’s true, maybe the concert is only in the early planning stages? Then if enough performers sign on, the date will be officially booked with the venue. However it does sound odd not to have any performers booked yet and they are just now sending out “invitations”. It’s a good idea to have such a event and it would certainly bring aid to the people of Ukraine. We will see…

QuoteHairball I love Al Stewart ---- well three of his songs anyways. Year of the Cat...On the Border...Time Passages - all excellent. I suppose I should dig a bit deeper some day, but this set might be a bit too deep! A single greatest hits cd of his might be the ticket for me to start with. Gerry Rafferty is similar in that I should dig deeper in to some day as I only know three tunes of h

I was at a Buddy Guy show at his club in Chicago. Buddy will be 87 in a few months. My “table mate” arrived and told us the bad news. I had the pleasure to see David on his last couple tours and have enjoyed his recent solo work. Knowing Crosby’s health challenges this was not completely unexpected - however still a shock - especially after the recent passing of Jeff Beck. Rest in peace David

Sad news. He was a very unique and amazing guitarist. I saw his live show 3 or 4 times in the last couple years. Each show was amazing! Rest in peace Jeff…

Looks like it’s mounted on cardboard? It’s a nice clean good looking poster. Probably authentic and was used to promote the record release. To be sure of authenticity you should compare (both poster size and image quality) to a known authentic example. Some of these early promotional posters are very rare - with only a handful surviving.

If they need three days between shows while on tour, then I don’t think the seating capacity or size of the venue is a factor for the number of days in between each show. I would think the “off days” would be the same for a stadium as it would for a arena.
