i have no info if the first gig (espec. that one is excel. audience) will still be released by a Jap.label, considering all what has been released already. I prefer this audience rec. much more than the GF release because of its clear sound and good balance of all instruments. Not that I think the Stones perform that great musically....

I just listened to another(audience) recording of the 1st show, would rate it at least 9/10. Will have a listen from the 2nd show later. Shows may also be released on silver.

An superb recording of the 1st gig will come, and also a better version than the current one of the 2nd night very likely. Likely first through 'official' bootleg channels. And than I am not refering to any Japanese tapers who might have been recording...

By far, the vaults. But please don;'t mess with the original material like they did with the Exile outtakes.

Whether you like them or not, both Springsteen and U2 also deserve to be mentioned as competitors for the other bands mentioned here.

In Japan 'no label' released The Hague '76 May 30 from a new source in likely very good sound. Anyone listened to it/any comments? DAC released a lot of well known 76-79 wellknow outtakes. Anyone knows if these titles are a real upgrading in sound? Espec as they also already release Place Pigalle 4Cd a few yrs ago in great quality....

it seems that both 2009 and 2010 were no interesting years for Stones fans when it comes to new discovered live material or studio outtakes. All releases seem to contain material that has been out there before. Correct? Was one of the Scotland 81 gigs the very last interesting 'new' discoveries?

\I think it is a bad joke to add new lyrics and/or guitars to outtakes from the vault. And than to keep foggy what has really been done in the studio. Better had not released these EOM vaults is my opinion. Luckily there are Bruce and Dylan who really know how to please their hard core fans.

Recently DAC released a lot of outtakes releases. To me it seems all the same old stuff (lots of it released by themselves in Plage Pigalle for ex.) However, does anybody has a different opinion about it? Is it worth to buy?

And have these 13 songs from Detroit been released before, I think so but not sure

You are right about Detroit Erik. However, Collectors Review mentions 16 songs from Detroit, what seems the complete gig to me. Bonus songs like Satisfaction come from other shows like Oakland etc in audience quality. Any one knows for sure whether Detroit is complete or not on this release?

Rattlesnake released FW 1978 recently. Is this the first time the whole gig has been release in soundboard? Parts of this gig have been released long time ago.

They play the Stones songs much better than the Stones themselves these days. And that hurts....

The EV sound is not more than average. But there is a chance that a soundboard release will be follow as EV releases approx. once/twice a year great (so far unheard) soundboard recording of the 75 tour

If I am correct, after Mr. Peach who recorded some 300 gigs in very good quality in Japan between 75-85, Dan Lampinski is the nr. 2 famous taper from the 70-ties (recorded more than Mike Millard). Does anyone has a complete list of his recordings? Is it correct he never taped the Stones? Btw, great releases from Mr.Peach keep coming by Tarantura. A new highlight is a 6CD box from 1980/Bla

Both TSC and PW I like a lot. Saw PW last month in Paradiso / A'dam. Rather messy gig but and not all songs stood out but enjoyed it a lot. The band members themselves had fun too. But Jee, Mr Wellers is a chain smoker and heavy wine drinker when on stage, never saw this before....

His Slide on this gig in Tokyo was great, kicked ass. With the Stones he sucked rather big deal every time I saw him!

The two shows I saw in A'dam 98 pretty much sucked, as Ronnie did not touch his guitar at all. So only a very thin sound these nights. Just listen to the bootlegs. After Koln 2006 0r 2007 I was saw bored with the war horses that I left before the encore and decided that this was my last Stines show.

I find it usable too, except they are not much critical towards all these SODD Stones titles. But their judgement on sound I always appreciate

So at least it is the real Scorpio releasing it, that was confirmed in Japan too. Tons of other interesting material still released in Japan though. Lots of gigs from the 70 and early 80-ties in Japan released and other interesting stuff. I bought myself: Cream - Dallas 68 in excellent aud. quality - the Mid Valley release with t-shirt MSG - 1980 studio rehearsals + 1980 US gig in excel

Apparently yes, but according to CR they rose up from the death.... One of my favorite releases is their LZ rehearsals/outtakes box (10 CD's or so)

Are you sure it is not the genuine Scorpio label? According to Collectors review it is.
