I was there too and made it to the 3 shows. The Cirkus Krone was unforgettable and the Olympiastadion was great too. I also didn't like the Olympiahalle concert that much. From all the shows I saw in 2003, it's the one which left me the less souvenirs, even if I cannot say it was a bad one. I just didn't get into it.

It's not only about being audiophile MP3 sourced live CDs leave very audible mini gaps between the songs, unless you spend some time re-editing your CD before burning it. Today there are great lossless formats like FLAC or SHN that you can directly burn on CD if you have the plugins (which are free) Metallica is selling their official live recordings from the last tour in FLAC format fo

I watched a DVD made by a group of fans called U2 Preservation. It was the opening gig, 4 cam mix with excellent AUD DAT sound. IMO the show really was boring, but the DVD was simply wondeful in terms of quality (filming, sound, edit...) I really hope Stones fans will be able to make at least the same kind of great job and share it for free, just as these guys do.

Rene, Some of these tracks are pretty easy to find. Most are are official Bsides of singles released in the late 80ies/ early 90ies. DT for instance is on the soundrack to the Movie Maximum Overdrive. I have a bootleg at home (on CD) from the Live at Atlantic Studio (the famous one) and at least 4 of the songs you are looking for are bonus tracks on this particular CD. I'm pretty su

Baboon Bro The new Robert Plant is a funny mix of styles : egyptian influences, blues, rock etc. It isn't poppy at all and IMO it sounds more Zeppelinesque that his previous solo works (not speaking of the Page/Plant stuff) But it really needs more than a couple of listenings to really get into it.

It's too bad they can't give us points. Say 40 points for 1 membership. 1 stadium/arena ticket access would cost 10 presale pts 1 club show ticket access would cost 20 presale pts That would be great. Big fans would still need to take multiple memberships, but it'd seem more customer oriented than profit driven.

Yes in 94 they arrived in a boat in NYC in 1989, I think they came by train to VCentral Staltion. A good illustration of the Steel Wheels concept. In 1997 it was the Cadillac on Brooklyn Bridge I just can't remeber if they did anything special in 1981...

There is some stuff that is kept secret for a while, it's nothing new. As an example, the Brixton 95 show in pro-shot video. It exists, few people have it and just don't share. If the story of this recording is true, we'll have to be patient. My guess is it's gonna be available once the official CD is out.

I totally agree, Charlie is a real gentleman I don't know if the Stones tours are as boring to him as he pretends, but I think he won't leave his 40-year friends alone. Maybe he considers touring with the Stones as a job with good friends that helps him appreciating his jazz projects, his horses and all his hobbies. Who knows, this may really be the last tour. I hope it's

Bernard made a CD with guitarist Stevie Salas, forming a band called Nicklebag in 1996; The title is 12 hits and a bump. Ronnie Wood, Darryl and Lisa were appearing on some tracks, and Ronnie even sketched an artwork.

The Stones always had a keyboard/piano player with them live. There will be one on the next tour, no matter if it's Chuck or anybody else. Soem people don't like Chuck, but Mick, Charlie and Keith won't ask any of us about who we'd choose to make the job. All we can do is respect their choice. I also hope Bobby K will be there too, just as Lisa and Bernard.
