Yeah they usually announce a 1st round of north american dates, and they confirm some other continents/countries they'll visit. Don't expect them to announce all the dates on the press conf. Dates are added depending on how the 1st tickets are selling etc.

The ticket prices will be soooo high that all the excuses will be good for not going to the shows The Stones' management should pay attention to the ticket prices and to the psychological barrier that such prices may raise

I am very concerned about the price of tickets. Seeing what Macca is asking is bad omen for me, but I hope I'll make it to the US this time too. I think it will be the last tour, and on a stricly financial basis, I hope it will be the last. Musically and one stage, they'd better stop still being in top form and leaving great memories than making the tour too much. The Stones are

Rick Rubin would be a good experience, but I have nothing against Don Was. Concerning ACDC, the Mutt Lange album Highway to Hell is definitely my favorite. The 80ies albums after For Those... now sound oldfashionned in terms of production IMO. They've been doing increasingly better from album to album starting with Blow up your video, and I really like the sound of Stiff Upper Lip.

Sorry bout what happened to you. I think the only "positive" thing is that your photo material can be replaced by your insurance since they have a commercial value they can evaluate. It'd be much harder to replace the CDs, especially the bootlegs and the other Stones collectibles you may have.

I saw him in 2003 in Paris, it was a great show in 2 parts. Great souvenir. He wasn't slim, but I believe he lost some weight compared to 1998. I have a review of the show with photos on my webpage. BTW, if there is a recording of this show circulating, I'd be glad to know and find a copy.

If you have an 8 track player, you have it plugged into your amplifier, right ? Can't you plug your amplifier into your Mac's sound card ???? I'm sure you'll find a Mac users forum telling you how to import tapes, LPs, 8tracks or anything else into your computer and make CDs out of it. My advice is don't compress the files into MP3, just keep the WAV files, which a

It would be a good idea to use the modern recording technologies in terms of live recordings. The Rolling Stones could sell SBD recordings from all their shows on the net (in a lossless format like FLAC) like Metallica, or on traditional CDs like the Who, Pearl jam, the Straycats and many more This kind of service isn't that expensive nowadays and would please all the fans who are spe

I saw 2 german bands, whose names I can't remember and a english band called Railing Staines. There's a french band called Satisfaction that really ain't bad at all. Still, as close as any of these bands can get, it ain't the real thing. As far as I'm concerned, even if I sometimes go out to see a cover band, I find it less frustrating to watch a real Stones DVD at

Abattoir means slaughter house It was the former slaughter house of Paris, before they moved it outside Paris. The official name was Pavillon de Paris, if I make no mistake. Now the area has changed quite a lot and on the same site you have la Grande Halle de la Vilette (used for exhibitions and jazz concerts) and a 6,000 capacity concert venue called Le Zenith. Also almost on the same pl

When sharingthegroove disappeared, some people obviously managed to get the source programme, made slight changes, and reopened it somewhere else under a new name. I hope some people may have the same idea with Easytree... Most important is not to communicate the sites' adresses too often on forums, because it could accelerate their shutdowns.

It is sad news indeed, especially after the stop of sharingthegroove a few months before. Sharing bootlegs is a great thing : less money going the mafias, more money available for official records, taxed CDRs, etc... As long as the artists and the majors won't make a difference between massively downloading official stuff, which is causing predjudice to artists and record companies an

This is an update of the webpage, which is online for almost a year now. The CD was supposed to be released in Japan last summer, and worlwide a bit later if I make no mistake. Baboon Pro, some of the Stones themselves are part of the projetct : Keith and our favorite all-time jazzlover Charlie.
