You may like them or not, but in Europe in 1996 and 1999/2000 KISS had the lowest ticket among the major acts touring in those years, and they were by far the ones using the most pyros. Gunpowder doesen't cost much, but I hope they'll put money in sound equipment and in a great innovative stage design with perfect and huge screens for the ones far away behind. Of course, some pyrote

JP, running a website means that some people will appreciate your work, a lot won't give a s**t and some others will be very critical. I tried to see what some people may have written about my page in other places (not only Stones related forums) last year and I've been surprised by the result. Since we are making fan pages, we should consider that this ain't neither our job,

Back up Plant ???? Do you mean he'll perform as an opening act ? I don't believe Robert needs a back up singer on tour. He did extremely well with Strange Sensation in Europe last month.

I hope Paris gets the games. I don't understand what you mean monkey man, were are more ready today than Athens was 1 month before the opening of their games.(kidding, but still) - Moscow, don't think so - NYC, they don't know exactly what they want - Madrid, well Spain already had the Olympics not so long ago - London is way too agressive. The spirit of the Olympics is fair

Bands missing : Aerosmith, ACDC, Springsteen, Lenny Kravitz as mentioned before Metallica, Oasis, Iron Maiden, even the Scorpions and their bloody ballads could've been part of it. A bit of reggae could've been cool, like Jimmy Cliff, Toots, Burning Spear.

With the little moving stage they used in Miami in 94 yes. The 1st B stage used on a whole tour was for U2 I guess. They also work with Mark Fisher.

As I said in my news section June 15, the South western part of France is the favorite place for the British people to have a vacation residence. A lot of low cost flights are heading from the UK to Bordeaux and the other airoprts of the region. There's a rumor since 2003 saying that Bordeaux wants the Stones. They have a bigger stadium (33,000 seats and the pitch, wich could make a 45,00

She ain't a fan She respects my passion, and that's the most important thing Still she wants to come to one show at least next summer (plus maybe a club if we're lucky to get one) The funny thing is that she realised with me that a lot of songs she liked on the radio were from the Stones. She thinks Keith was soooooooo cute when he was younger (end of the 60ies - early 70ies

The problem is that wherever they go to play, the tour crew is paid according to US/UK standarts. They have to earn at least enough money to pay the promoter, the local crew, their own tour personal (and themselves). Putting this altogether makes it hard to go to emerging countries, unless they sell massively (100,000 ?) cheap tickets for each show.

There was a 1st band before BC in Luxembourg in 95. I never had the name of the band, but I think it was a local band from Luxembourg, or maybe Belgium... BC also opened Den Haag in 98 (along with a few other shows, but I can't remember any other opening act in Den Haag

I think there's a big diffezrence between the prices the brokers or scalpers expect now and the money they will get for their tickets later on. I think prices will sink if nobody's ready to pay these amounts of money. it's just offer that has to match demand.
