Quotegotdablouse Quotejamesjagger That poor guy has no life (musically) for over thirty years......what a drag. Yes it's a bit mind boggling that he's come with absolutely nothing of interest since the late 70s, a bit like Ray Davies, except he's way more overrated, both as a writer and as a guitar player. Mick and Keith get panned but at least they've produced new material of

QuoteGravityBoy Coda is better than in through the out door and most of Presence. Definitely wouldn't agree with that. Maybe better than Presence (the only Zep album I never really enjoyed minus one or two songs), but In Through The Out Door is underrated. Its not a classic like Houses Of The Holy and previous, but its still damn good. In The Evening, I'm Gonna Crawl, Fool In The Rain,

Guess thats true, and it would be great to see. I guess I assumed they had gone through everything with previous reissues and the reason there wasn't any bonus stuff was because it just wasn't there, minus well known concert bootlegs. But hey, Zeppelin is always great and if Page wants to finally make a remaster worth it, I'm on board!

It is sort of ridiculous that he's doing this. He's sort of harboring into that joke that everyone said he would do this again, when I certainly thought they had done it enough at this point. I guess they're following Pink Floyd's model and this will probably be the last time, but I say that with Zeppelin every time. Can't imagine what bonus stuff they'll release, bu

QuoteAdams Kind of growing on me, even the crappy ballads. Listening to the just leaked bonus disc at the moment Hm, guess I'll have to look for those. Should be easy to find, they just hadn't leaked yesterday when I downloaded the other stuff.

QuoteJohnnyBGoode I like it. I mean, they could of axed a couple of ballads, but I can just get rid of those myself. If you read the Aerosmith forums you would think this album would be the end of the world. Like I said, listening to it as an "album" I like it. Agreed. I cut it down on my own to 9 tracks and 43 minutes and I think its a really enjoyable listen. My version is mostly rock

Honestly, this is a big change for them. They usually charge out the nose just like everyone else. $1000 for meet and greet, probably more, etc. I don't know the prices. I'm not a fan. But I know they charge just as much as everyone else. $200 for the best seats, etc. I guess its good for fans that they are doing this, but they've been charging a shitload for years. Their fans more

Quotetipps I'll have to miss Paul but am seeing the Boss. Not to overhype it, but there's a small rumor that because Bruce and Paul are friends and have played together, as evidenced by Hyde Park earlier this year, and since they're playing back to back nights, that Paul might show up at Bruce's show. Take it with a grain of salt but since they are so close together in their s

Quotestupidguy2 Im seeing him on November 14 in Houston, taking my 13-year old niece (Beatle fan) - it will be her first real concert. I saw him in 05 (I think it was 05) and he was great. Just a great, solid show with a great solid band....no frills or 'special guests' Anyone know the set list? This show?

Honestly, I'm listening to the whole thing through right now and I expected much worse. I'll have to actually listen more closely a few more times, but there are at least 4 to 5 songs I like right off the bat. Nothing like their golden years, and I understand wanting that from Jack Douglas producing. I guess I am not a huge fan (but love those albums) so I haven't spent a year hopi

Wish I was seeing him again. Seen him twice and its miraculous the type of show he's putting on at his age. An incredible underrated band backing him up and Paul still has a voice (at least he did 2 years ago at Yankee Stadium). Its so nice to see him still out there giving 100% and playing music that is legendary. He always has a great setlist, changes it up tour to tour quite frequently, a

Obviously it helps that the songs are all outstanding, but I don't know if there's ever been a better "greatest hits release". This ranks among the Top 5 of them. An unbelievable collection with not one song to skip.

Still have to see Gone Baby Gone, but absolutely will after seeing this. I agree The Town I also thought was very good, although I liked Argo a bit more. Still very strong back to backs. And I've heard Gone Baby Gone is just as strong so quite a three-peat as your first directing gigs. If Affleck was a joke about 7 years ago, he has certainly risen past that since then.

Was delightfully surprised to notice during the movie Argo that there was a very small section where Little T&A was used as the background music. It was literally used for maybe a minute (if that), but still a cool choice that wouldn't typically be used. It was a nice contrast to Gimme Shelter during Flight which I've heard in a million movies lol. I figured maybe it was used to rep

And it looks like he reached his goal! Over $100,000 at this point and still going. I know he at least had another $5000 backer since yesterday so who knows who that was. Probably a close friend with money as opposed to an actual fan, but who knows. And who cares as long as it broke the goal. Good for Stevie. Its nice to see his dream come true.

SPARKS!!!!!! One of my favorite albums of all time is Kimono My House. I have sent them emails through their website to play in the US to no response. Too bad. I saw that they played that album in full a few years ago which I would have paid through the nose to get to had I known about it. I don't believe they ever play in the US which is sad but understandable.

Hey there, Here's a recording of the Boston interview/acoustic performance Pete did last week if anyone is interested. Haven't gotten a chance to listen yet but I'm sure it sounds pretty decent. And if not, at least its a memento of the night for those that were there.

Quotetatters Not as top heavy as KR's book. It took Keef almost 200 pages just to get to (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction. 200 pages into Pete's book and you're already past Tommy and Woodstock, both of which are discussed in great detail. There's a lot about Tommy in this book, actually. Even the making of the Tommy movie takes up the better part of two chapters. But when h
