Quotemosthigh Tons of tickets, including pit, available for The Gorge. Might be too much of a hassle / trek for a lot of boomers, or maybe it will be more of a last-minute thing. Jeez, they've barely sold anything! Thats crazy. Its not even THAT expensive, once you get past the platinums.

QuotePaddy I can’t believe they waited till Wayne Kramer passed before inducting the MC5. They should have at the very least been inducted same night as The Stooges. I think only Dennis Thompson is still alive to accept this sham award. The thing is a Joke and I’m glad The Pistols gave it the finger when they were nominated and I’m glad Liam had his speak also. IF they just called it the music ha

Quoteangee Is anyone going to see Neil and Crazy Horse at the Hollywood Bowl? Definitely gonna try to hit it but still so many months away I'm hoping prices drop a bit. Seems like an awesome place to see them though.

Quotegotdablouse Yeah I was wondering about a tour...you'd think they would have announced something at the same time like they did for "Rattle That Lock" around the same time in 2015. I saw him in the magnificent setting of the antique Orange theater so it would be hard to top that but I'd probably be tempted... If he were to just do a few shows in London, I'd probably

I know it would be asking too much from him, and he owes me and his fans nothing, but I'd love to see him tour just one more time. I know, many said that on the last tour almost a decade ago, and it was true. He happened to play 2 nights at MSG the two nights I was in Vegas for the first GNR reunion shows, and I don't regret it but I was so angry I couldn't do both. I met a lot of

RIP Mike. Always seemed like he kinda got the raw end of the deal, even though he was there from the beginning. I always appreciated and enjoyed his contributions but they seemed like they got less and less. By Every Good Boy Deserves Favor, he was relegated to just one song, My Song which is very unambiguous lyrically. By Octave he was barely present on the cover, and then I believe he left the

Getting Streets Of Fire and I'm Goin Down back to back really makes me wish this set kept opening up. It really feels like its right about to explode. I know he's got a show and theme he's trying to do, and I totally respect that, but if he added two more slots in the show for some wild cards (keep the different openers each night, keep the Streets Of Fire/I'm Goin Down slot b

QuoteVoodooLounge13 For me, the White Album has always been an overhyped record. One that could be scaled back to an excellent long EP or a very short LP, depending on how one looks at it. There are some most excellent tracks on it (Julia, Good Night, Dear Prudence), but there is also a bunch of rubbish. The thing with the White Album is no one can agree on the tracks you'd keep if its a s

QuoteNilsHolgersson Maybe this will be her "White Album", her "Exile". Those albums weren't really understood at the time too. As much as I love the White Album, is there any arguing against it being a mess? It's hardly a "Beatles" record, it's all 4 of them trying to get their songs on there and working separately. I, and I suspect many, have come t

Absolutely not against her, as I've enjoyed her other albums as I've gone back, though I did think most of this album was sitting at a piano and just rambling. She's obviously allowed to put out whatever she wants, and she could sing the phone book and it would sell, but I didn't really feel these were great "songs" and its hard to not argue 30 songs is just a lot. Yeah, I've sadly just resigned to the fact that nothing with TM/Livenation is ever gonna change. The whole ticket system is screwed up too far and deep that I can't imagine anything of actual consequence making it better. Its super sad, but IMO its always been a hand in hand problems that corporations but also fans created. I guess everyone is allowed to spend whatever they want on tick

Watching this now. All very good performances so far. Billy Porter just did a really great job with The Bitch Is Back. Disappointed they couldn't get Low Cut Connie for this. Elton has publicly called him out and they'd have been a great addition.

QuoteBig Al It was a strange decision for Blur to perform, quite honestly. A very Generation Z roster of acts', with a young audience, who'd have hardly been aware of Blur's U.K. popularity from 30+ years' ago. I'm not in any way a Blur fan, but their song Song 2 is played constantly still these days, and covered by many people. So they still have a presence, and Damon is

Just seems so superfluous 1. to make the announcement if thats what it is, and 2.for the original to even become available after getting what we did with Peter Jackson's work. I understand having the original product out there, but it being available on the same service as this much more comprehensive one... there's just no reason to watch the original anymore. I'm not the biggest John Mellencamp fan, but I have seen him before and honestly he is trying to put on "a show". Not a broadway sense, but he has a show he's trying to deliver. He's not asking for quiet, he's asking for respect. If you just want to hear Jack and Diane, I honestly applaud that he's man enough to say "thats not what I'm about and if tha

Quoteroryfaninva Apparently Ginger simply showed up to the first rehearsal uninvited and hijacked the drummer's chair- Clapton had assumed Jim Capaldi was going to be the drummer and was looking forward to a clean break from the whole Cream thing. He was also hoping Winwood would step up and veto Baker but Steve just shrugged and off they went with Ginger. Great drummer but the band may have

Something that kinda comes up all the time, but I'm listening to some of the Midnight Ramblers from the 50 And Counting tour and just smiling ear to ear. Yes, Mick Taylor was not used correctly on that tour, yes he's arguably not even really given enough space in his one spot during Rambler. BUT its cool to hear that, if for just one song every single night, the Rolling Stones really fe

The Blind Faith album is and always has been an incredible record. Coming at a perfect time for everyone involved. To me, two of Clapton's best records are the Blind Faith one and Derek And The Dominoes Layla. When he just straps on that guitar and plays there's nothing like it. Obviously his solo stuff, Cream and other things are great too, but Blind Faith and Derek feel so natural. St
