Heck, the "Album" as a form of expression wasn't even invented back then (I believe Rubber Soul in '65 was the first real focused solid album where every single track stood out).

When I think of The Beatles and guitars I think of the mean Helter Skelter and the wierd backwards solo in Taxman and it's actually McCartney who does both.
