Gun - Hampden Park Glasgow - Hometown gig supporting their album 'Gallus'
they played a blistering set encouraged by Ronnie & Charlie who visited their dressing room prior to them going on stage, to wish them all the best, so inspired by this, they went out and played their best ever set


Worst

10cc Knebworth 21/08/1976 - took about two hours to set up a mobile to record what was to be their last live show, the bottles started to rain in by bored Stones fans waiting for the real event.

Did the Black Crowes ever start a show? Would be pretty sweet. I liked The Hives here in Gothenburg. Historically: Stevie Wonder, BB King, Ike & Tina Turner.

Worst: I think the Outlaws opened once, maybe the same show as Tosh. Bloody awful.

Johnny Lang at Roseland Ballroom was tough, but that's because it went on so long, and I was standing on the floor all that time (no seats). Normally I skip the opener altogether. That's why God invented reserved seating.

Best would have been James Brown at MSG in '81, but he cancelled.
Worst would be Foreigner.

Favourite: Beck in Toronto
Best moment was when they performed a song with the band sitting around a dinner table playing forks and spoons on the China. After the song, Beck announced they had invited Mick and Keith for dinner but were unable to attend.

Worst: I can't remember...I'm also one of those that usually is shopping for posters and t-shirts while the opening act is on.

Best : Groundhogs Newcastle City Hall 1971
Worst : Primal Scream at Twickenham 2003; although I like them and have seen them since; I really don't think they were good that day
