I know that they're probably happy to have any sort of gig, but there must be a special kind of humiliation that goes along with being in the Miley Cyrus band. Do you tell your friends?

Quoteandrewt QuoteStoneage Typical Jagger. Always elusive... Not really. If he's "hoping" to do something, it will be done. The Stones would not announce shows in an offhand comment to a reporter. It's not their style. Rememeber the blimp? The flatbed truck? etc. "There will be lots of lovely things." -Mick Jagger re: the 50th anniversary. I like lovely thin

Quoteseitan QuoteGravityBoy Mick would never have qualified for the first round of X-Factor. Which is not a criticism of Mick but speaks more about the modern day industry. Janis Joplin, Mick, Jim Morrison, Iggy Pop, you name it - would never have qualified for the first round of X-Factor. On the other hand - X Factor, Idols etc, - kinda shows will never, ever never have anything REAL in the

QuoteToru A Quotekammpberg Hi IORR, I've been an avid reader and follower of IORR for years, but have never posted. I finally decided to give it a try. Goats Head Soup was the first Stones album I ever bought when it actually came out, so I have special feelings for it. Here's a review I wrote about it a couple of years ago. Nice review. I don't think GHS is the most under

Quotenick WOW, I dont read reviews but Kammpberg you actually make Dirty Work respectable. Mr. Monte take notes and A LOT OF THEM. His review made me play my Dirty Work CD where as your blog and this subsequent Post you made here did nothing but remind me have low I felt being a Stones fan at that low period in their legacy. Yeah that was a low period to be a fan...that album, sandwiched betw

Quote71Tele QuoteYoungie QuoteGazzaThere is absolutely NO movement for 'independence' in Northern Ireland and never has been. Try and have a clue what you're talking about. It wont happen in Wales either and is probably unlikely to happen in Scotland. You think Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales would rather be ruled by the english than be independant? LOL good one. Quotenick At The Max was filmed in IMAX format and looked awesome seeing it in IMAX. Shine A Light was not that way and the IMAX experience wasn't to good. Yeah, between the visuals and the sound, it was quasi-like being at a show. I also enjoyed the At The Max.

QuoteMJG196 Quotetreaclefingers I believe, the 3rd rarest behind Street Fighting Man & Beast of Burden. I think it sells in the $300-500 range, although I've seen it go for $800 a few years ago on Ebay. Went for $609 this week... wow...the market seems to be coming back. I bought this for $18 including shipping, from a 'BUY IT NOW' on ebay.co.uk about 3 years ago.

This one puzzled me before, and will continue to puzzle me. An ADMITTED photocopy of the 'original' Beast of Burden picture sleeve, selling on EBAY...current bid, $101 with 1 day 19 hours to go and 6 bids so far. This same seller, big-boy-al has sold several of these, and also Street Fighting Man. In the past, they have sold between $200-300. He always admits they are photocopies.

Quote24FPS Per DOXA and Treaclefingers - I was in a dance club when Undercover Of The Night came out and was delighted when it came booming out of this big sound system. The crowd paid no attention to it and no one got up to dance. I remembered how people did get up to dance to Miss You, and the good reaction Hey Negrita and Hot Stuff got in a club a couple years before that. (Billy's piano
