I think the Shidoobees have huge get togethers at least once a year. They had a weekend convention down in Wildwood, N.J. a few years ago.

They all have ugly websites.

IORR is tops when it comes discussing the Rolling Stones catalog. Vinyl, CD's, variations of songs, etc. It is the biggest link we all have in common with each other...their music.

What about TimeIsOnOurSide?

The chronologic list of stones activities sorted by year is amazing. The recording and discography info and notes are also very nice.

That guy put alot of labor and work getting all that data up there. He deserves to be praised along with these other sites.

And more importantly as compared to IORR....the dude changes the picture on the home page regularly.....peace

The way I see it, they took the time and money to launch a website and forum and I didn't, so whichever one I visit is the best at that time for me, thanks to them for all their efforts and input.

Well, bv is definitely the best-looking...slim like the Stones.

Yea, Bliss. BV should do great as a Dressman model (the Norwegian clothing company that sponsors The Rolling Stones). I wonder what BV has to say about that...

all Stones forums are there for the fans by the fans.

It's not a competition. They all serve a valuable purpose.

Connecting fans with similar passions.

They should all be applauded and celebrated.

Obviously I like IORR the best, but.....Rocks Off DOES have the Joey-thread....

All in all fans we should be happy of having these forums avalilable anyway.

I prefer this web.

Primarily becouse of its format and plurality.

As in the other forums there are some core groups made up of long time subscribers which try to assert some influence by making some basic concepts flow (so to speak). And they think they lead those flows.


But along side those planets imposing their gravitation and trying to impose some kind of conceptual mainstream about the band there are some asteroids which MAY fly around freely. In the other forums it is not that easy (IMHO....).
