If the release date for GHS-deluxe is correct, there might be a chance that the new album is released before christmas.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Why is this "Tom Waits"? What's "Tom Waits" about this? This? Waits? I better check Tom Waits out for soul gems like this... Yeah,Tom Waits allmost everywhere in Keith's voice since All about you (1980). And often in the overall sound.

Quotebonddm Quotegeorgelicks Release Date: Friday August 28 2CD's with extra tracks Source: 40x5 Tribute Bar I’m hoping there’s a 4 or 5CD super deluxe version with both Brussels shows. Yes - or other shows from the European Tour too. And tourfootage - and the promovideos (incl. both Angie-versions)

Quote24FPS Quotefloodonthepage If by "latest Stones albums" we say post-Wyman era...which I guess no one said that that is the agreed upon definition, but that's what I'll use for my answer, then my answer is no. Babylon is better than Crosseyed Heart, even with some of the misfires on Babylon. Babylon is daring in ways that no Stones related album has been since Undercover

I definately don't think so. Crosseyed Heart was a huge disappointment. By far the weakest solo effort by a Glimmer twin.

Quotemailexile67 I think that new album will comes out next year in the fall taking advance of forthcoming anniversary, this year we'll have the Goats head soup Deluxe reissue in the fall Yes I think so too. I had hoped for this autumn/christmas, but it seems to be Goats and Ghost Town (Goats Town!) this year. The new album in 2021. And some extravangant compilation for the 60th anniverser

QuoteDoxa Later in the year Mick was involved in SOME GIRLS bonus album material in August (Keith did his overdubs in September). This seemingly wasn't such a big project as the EXILE one - something, according to MIck, "he lived six months". - Doxa I think the bigger involvement in Exile, might not just be the Exile-tracks, but also the getting an idea of next steps of p

Quotedcba QuoteGetYerAngie What is so fine about GHS in total is that it differs so much from EOMS. It's moody, it's a stones take on "beauty". Interesting! Imo Ghs is a very European record (classy subtile sometimes a bit too fragile) in the same sense as Eoms was an American record : energetic, loud, fast and at times lacking subtility. The fact that Magritte was chosen

GHS was the initiation record for me - so for me it's a masterpiece and I have always felt it belonging to not the Big 4 but the Big 6 (including GYYYO also). It's true that Silver Train and Star*#%* can't compete with BS, but Star*#%* is fine deconstructive way of tungue in cheek wrestling with the rock-muse - Star*#%* is over the top and cool and minimalistic at the same time.

QuoteWitness QuoteHairball Quotempj200 No. They just haven’t been happy with all the songs. Some of them have already been release by Mick solo as Keith didn’t like them. Ronnie is just being honest. I look forward to the deluxe, which I exspect to be like Exile and Some Girls (so I really for som good video extras too). And i could dream of a box for hard core fans like us containing not only the Brussels Affair, but the London shows and other - like Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue-box set (14 cds). And a book with lots of the great photos from that tour of Europe.

Quotegeorgelicks We can all guess that with the new re-issue of GHS, the chances for the new album released this year is very doubtful now, I can't see 2 products released the same year, even if the new album is released in December. Something strange is happening with the new stuff, Mick is not very happy with the material, that's sure, he's not upbeat at all, and the re-issue

Swayed1967 I Don't Know Why is one of my favourite Jagger vocals too (Top 20 I think). To cover Stevies Wonder's great song is not for everone, but Jagger does a great, great job. He might not top Wonder, but equals him in his own way. It is one of the few highligts on the uneven Metamorphosis.

QuoteHairball QuoteGetYerAngie I certain disagree. TIC was fine to hear when it was published. Afterwards it has just faded away. And it was actually quite a shock to hear that it was as weak as was, when it was reissued as deluxe. To my ears Wandering Spirit and Goddess has aged far better. Neither of these albums/side2 are even in the same ballpark. For the sake of argument, I disagree. I think the context has to be taken in to consideration - at the time of Tattoo You's release, I w

Quotedoitywoik Alright, here's a piece of serious news, albeit from back in September 2014. Found this in an old post of mine. I saw it a couple of days ago on some danish channel. I think that it might be the best retrospective account of Stones on screen, It was told from Bill's point of view and that really was great. It was focussed on the achievements, and didn't bother to be tiny and nasty like Keith in "Life".
